Man, he was missing combos like crazy. He is not shot, but he seriously lost a step. His timing looked off, and it's normal at 36. If you look at the history of the sport, at the great fighters who relied a lot on speed and athleticism or fought that type an aggressive boxer-puncher, they are all over the hill sometimes between 33 and 35.

I was impressed by a lot of Cotto's assets in that fight (jab, chin, strategy), but it was not his defense who made Mosley look like he lost a step, it was exactly that Mosley lost a step. At least, that's how I saw it.

you cut the crap. Floyd has never denied these offers and he was with Arum when they were made.
If you are so sure, Links, please. I would be happy to know that I was wrong.

That must be why Floyd was calling him out back then.

i will but once I do please just accept it, i hate providing links just to be told Bob Arum is a liar. especially when Floyd was still being promoted for a couple more fights when these offers took place.

BTW, in my previous analysis, I mostly described what Mayweather would do. I dont want to give the impression, that I dont consider what Shane would do. The reason I focused only on what Floyd do, but he is the one who makes changes. Mosley seems to adapt mostly from a fight to the rematch.

I expect Shane to come out aggressive, with his power boxing and side movement.

I am afraid that with Arum being a liar (he is boxing promoter and a he was a lawyer before that), you will have to take the risk.
