Usually the champ that loses his belt gets a rematch and the fight was competative, so am wondering whats the deal? Neither fighter has any huge fights on the table so seems like a good idea to me..

uh it wasn't that competitive, maybe that's why. Margarito clearly won 2-3 rounds and maybe edged one more, but that was a blowout in terms of who was winning rounds

The Cotto and Williams paydays were similar. Williams may have been a little higher because Goossen kicked in extra money on top of the purse bid money in order to make it happen. Educate yourself.
