Why no Margerito-Williams rematch?

If Arum took the Williams rematch and loss he wouldn't be able to match Cotto-Marg like he so vehemtly wants to. I really don't know why he regards that fight so highly.

Yeah I thought Marg came on in the later rounds but it was too little too late.

yeah it was i can see margarito starting earlier next time and winning by ko. paul was running and holding in the 11th. paul never once hurt margarito. margarito walked through everything paul had to offer.

if margarito comes out like he did againts johnson, he will finish williams in 7. if he doesnt the williams might have a chance to beat him again

Margarito wants the rematch, but Arum doesn't want to make it. If he keeps winning though, he'll get another shot down the line so it's no big deal.

I bet Cotto vs Margarito would be a great fight. Cotto may get KO'd. Marg has decent power and would have reach advantage over Cotto (Im assuming).

Why would margarito be scared of williams when margarito was the only one landing the hurting punches. williams was slap boxing 100 punches a round. margarito almost had him out on his feet i think in the tenth round. if margarito starts two maybe one round earlier he wins and probably scores a knockdown at least. The main fight for marg is a cotto fight. thats probably the biggest fight for both other then vs mayweather and a marg vs cotto fight is what arum has been wanting to set up for over a year now. thats why they are fighting on the same card again and according to arum a july ppv fight between marg and cotto is in the works.

I never thought I would say this after reading your other posts regarding Money May...but I gotta say I must agree with you here wholeheartly. I'm sure if Tony beats Judah (which I know he will) and if for some reason the Cotto fight doesn't pan out, he will fight Williams again. It all depends if Williams accepts that fight which I doubt he will.

Williams kept Margarito on the ong end of a jab, never hurt him or had him in any danger, and Wiliiams did get punished himself although he absorbed it pretty well. A domination , in my opinion, is more like a five round, four knockdown, destruction where your opponent is left weeping on the canvas he got his ass beat so hard.

Get over it, stop hating on Margarito bacause he beat the living **** out of your idol, everyone loses.
