    Why no Margerito-Williams rematch?

Usually the champ that loses his belt gets a rematch and the fight was competative, so am wondering whats the deal? Neither fighter has any huge fights on the table so seems like a good idea to me..

Margarito doesnt want any piece of Williams again. He would rather fight Golden Johnson. BTW Why is it so many fruits that always want to imagine they can see Floyd Mayweathers ass?

Maybe Margarito didn't want to take the rematch right away becuase of Williams difficult style like Haterfree just said.

Because it's a very difficult match and Arum didn't want Margarito to risk it in the first place. Their own team acknowledged Williams was going to be a tough match for Tony. Cotto would be a much easier opponent for Margo if you take into account styles and physical dimensions.

Why would margarito be scared of williams when margarito was the only one landing the hurting punches. williams was slap boxing 100 punches a round. margarito almost had him out on his feet i think in the tenth round. if margarito starts two maybe one round earlier he wins and probably scores a knockdown at least. The main fight for marg is a cotto fight. thats probably the biggest fight for both other then vs mayweather and a marg vs cotto fight is what arum has been wanting to set up for over a year now. thats why they are fighting on the same card again and according to arum a july ppv fight between marg and cotto is in the works.

Because Margarito can hardly be considered a champ, nor would I like to witness Paul Williams outclass his skill less ass again.

If Arum took the Williams rematch and loss he wouldn't be able to match Cotto-Marg like he so vehemtly wants to. I really don't know why he regards that fight so highly.

lmao he was the longest raining champion. 10 years dumb ass. margarito was not outclassed. watch the fight again and see how all paul did was hit margaritos gloves about 500 times. marg was hurting paul. just look at pauls face after the fight. and im sure his ribs were sore as well. marg didnt even look like he was in a fight. if it wasnt for marg being a slow starter it would have been different. it will be different next time around

Yeah I thought Marg came on in the later rounds but it was too little too late.
