Common man, Hopkins has one of the best defenses in the business, I shouldn't have to tell you this.
Hopkins's defense was the first thing to take Winky Wright's jab away. Ever. No one else had figured out how to neutralize Winky's jab.

That right there means Hopkins has one HELL of a defense.

I think Calzaghe will win this, but I am about as far away from sure as I possibly can be.

Hopkins will win, Using boxing and jailhouse intimidation. lol Calzaghe looked scared at that press conference. Not signing the fight means high risk , small reward. in addition the Hatton Jinx will occur. Hopkins will win the fight mentally before it even starts. JC is too sloppy to deal with a calcutating puncher. Joe makes alot of mistakes and hopkins will exploit Trust!

Given Calzaghe's movement, even allowing for Bernard's ring wisdom, I think B-hop will be countering alot of thin air. Bernard's best tactic is to use his defence and hope Joe breaks his left again, otherwise I'm afraid he's going to loose this one badly.

We get the same list of what a, b,and C are going to do and we are still waiting. I just hope Bernard comes to fight, like a true warrior that he can be. As for jailhouse intimidation, do me a favour! Joe ain't scared of him and he ain't scared of Joe, they are both vetrans

Contrary to what the skeptics say, Calzaghe's got a good chance. He's very active and at this point Bernard's age might very well be an issue in the later rounds where Calzaghe still throws a lot of punches.

Calzaghe though will have to fight the best fight of his life cause at the end of the day...it is Bernard Hopkins.

The fight can go either way if you ask me. But if you were to ask me today who would win? Probably B Hop by decision.

Calzaghe coasts to an easy decision against a man old enough to be a grandpa.

Hopkins only chance is to headbutt Joe so many times he stops throwing. Joe by wide UD.

I'd say that his work-rate was over-overwhelmingly good there. I'd also say that you didnt do a good job of making your point.

Sorry but that guy that Joe faced was not on Hopkins's level. I did make my point. People keep telling me about Joe's great workrate.......I didn't see it in that fight. Hopkins can neutralize that workrate and make Joe look ugly and more sloppy then he has ever looked.
