It is, thank you for clearing your goggles there... my point is that... after the roy fight he went undefeated for the next 12 years... 12... claiming all the MW titles... he was obviously the other best MW roy couldve fought at the time... retrospectively... his career shows, he was in fact... the best mw at the time (besides roy)

What about the other champions at the time? Roy vs Hopkins was not for the undisputed Middleweight championship. It was for a vacant title.

Fighting someone like Jones will do wonders for your experience I would think. But yeh, I dont think he was prime when he first won the IBF title. He had a bit of a struggle winning it in the first place which kinda illustrates that.
