I don't think Margarito deserved the fight, but yeah if he doesn't fight Cotto then he deserves to get slated for that.

The funny thing is I used to hate Floyd, but I just have been forced to respect him. Plus I was watching some old fights of his that I have on tape recently and was left somewhat open mouthed.

I think you're right about that, Roy has more natural ability than Floyd. But based on who they have fought and the results of that, the level of opposition favors Floyd. Also Roy Jones was knocked out cold, twice. When roys reflexes slowed down, he became ordinary, I don't think Floyd will ever allow that to happen.

Floyd needs to give us two more fights at welterweight and beat the other welters to fully cement his legacy in my opinion, while Roy is pretty much done at this point, so floyd can still do more.

Roy Jones was the man of the 90's. Floyd has been the man since like 05. What era are you referring to?

Both have wins over other HOF fighters.

But who has answered the Critics in better fashion.
A lot of people rate these 2 as the best fighters of our era.

Roy has somewhat tarnished his "Invincible" persona with his brutal KO defeats at the hands of Tarver & Johnson.
Yet a lot of people excuse these losses due to his stint at Heavy & then coming back down and also his age a factor.

Floyd left no questions in the lower divisions he started but has still got unfinished business at 147.

Both have been accused of cherry picking and avoiding certain fighters.

Besides this they have both shown great skills and showmanship.

So who is your Best "JR"?

                  Roy or Floyd.

Tell us who and why you picked him.
i cant believe u even said ANYTHING positive about roy... that shocked me... ill say roy for now... if floyd can keep doin what hes doin til hes 35 (when roy lost) then ill give it to floyd

its hard to compare them with mayweather still in his prime and roy getting knocked out at 35
