The first fight was "ALLLL" Barrera. Stop scoring fights....please.
Nobody says you're saying that he's a "bad" fighter. You make a claim that he's over rated and you back it up by saying:
I mean really? Who here, that you have encountered, has made Erik out to be the second coming of god?
-The guy beat 12 champions
-Was a legitimate 3 division world champ
-Was one of the 2-3 greatest 122 pound champions in the divisions history
-Beat three hall of fame fighters (Pacquiao and Barrera should make it some day)
-Always took on his respective divisions best in:
130 - Manny Pacquiao, Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez
126 - In-Jin Chi, KEvin Kelley, Paulie Ayala, Guty Espadas, Marco Barrera
122 - Junior Jones, Wayne McCullough, Hector Acero-Sanchez, Daniel Zaragoza
He was one of the p4p best when he fought and is certainly one of the greatest Mexican born champions ever. Is he the best fighter of all-time? No. Top 20-30? No. Top 50? Probably not. He was special though...and I don't know about you but I don't see other people throwing his name around like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

ANd by Overrated im not saying he's a bad fighter, he was a great fighter. Let me put it this way. I think Sugar Ray Robinson is very overrated by todays generation because he is percieved as absolutely INVICIBLE, when many have never seen most of his fights that were on tape. Do i still have SRR as the greatest of all time? aboslutely.
Morales's best wins were over a faded Zerigoza, MAB, Pacquiao, and... then who? Ayala? Chi? Kelly? Jones? These are all good wins but some people make him out to be the MEXICAN variant of God himself!
