I wonder if Joe C would be as dominant in climbing weight divisions like Little Floyd.

            Just a thought.

well JC only has 3 division above him and one of those has no limit.

i think he could do well at lhw and could win a belt at cw against a bum.

heavyweight is out of the question though.

Joe would get crushed at Cruiser. The guys are just too big and have to much power.

Zags doesn't have enough pop to get Cruisers to respect him. Hell Big Truck Braithwaite comes into cruiser weight fights at about 180/185 and he would knockout Joe.

Oh well, not everyone has Mayweather's skills to jump divisions and remain unbeaten and world champion.

Give him a break. He's a Quitali fan.

They're lacking in logic and reason.

A true champion is always willing to face the best opponents!

Cotto and his promoter Arum are saying they want a fight with Mayweather, but Mayweather will likely want to fight someone smaller (Pacquiao) or past prime (De La Hoya rematch, or maybe Mosley in a couple of years when he's more faded).

Say what you want about Calzaghe, but at age 35 he fought and defeated the best, prime age opponent in his weight class. He could have been like Mayweather and avoided Kessler by moving up, and winning a title from the weakest light heavyweight titleholder at the time, Stipe Drews! But instead, he fought and defeated the best available opponent.

Why won't Mayweather fight a prime age top welterweight?

Why are you so sure he won't? Mayweather hasn't even announced his future plans yet.

And even if he doesn't, it's understandable because he is getting older and not a very big welterweight himself. It will effect on his position in the all-time p4p rankings but still doesn't mean he is a ducker.
