Interesting that Mayweather insisted the fight with Hatton would be at 147. This shows that Mayweather's natural weigh-in weight at age 30 is welterweight.
Let's see Jolene fight Chad Dawson..

Talk about something that will never happen..

Man you can't compate that ****. If you have MAyweather as the number #1 WW, Cotto is clearly the number 2. HEad and shoulders above the rest. He is a proven p4p-fighter and his record at 140/47 is much better than FLoyds. Dawson is a young champion, very gifted (but also with many flaws) BUT no way he is the man to fight at 175. He should first fight Johnson who gave him a hell of a fight and won in my eyes.
And stop talking about this "yeaaah he fought the best at SFW and LW" and comparing the FLoyd WW-campaign with Calzaghe moving up to HW. FLoyd is not a small WW. He is not a big one like Margarito but he was clearly bigger and stronger that Hatton. So he must be a solid WW today. DLH is also a solid JMW/very big WW today, starting his career at 130.

past prime - De La Hoya
          shot - Gatti

He will never face a prime, world-class welterweight like Cotto, or even Williams or Cintron, because he's not 100% sure he would defeat them!

Calzaghe faced and defeated the best prime, undefeated, world-class super middleweight in Mikkel Kessler. Why won't Floyd fight Cotto?
who had fought calzaghe? the shot eubank, old hopkins, the only legitimate fighter he fought was kessler and still he wasn't ready for calzaghe.what about floyd when he was at 140 he called out cotto and hatton both rejected the offer as the were not ready for him and now when floyd is getting old they want the fight, hatton got what he deserved what about cotto he really don't want to fight floyd now he want to wait some time when floyd will loose his speed and then he will call floyd out for the fight where his advantage will power and may be he will win but he will win past prime floyd not the same that was 2 years earlier.
