Do you think if Oscar made an offer for more money to Margarito, that he wouldn't take it? You'd probably praise Margarito for fighting Oscar.

Oh yeah, he's a true warrior and would spit in Oscar's face and fight Cotto for free.
actually its a lot easier to pick fights when you have a name like dlh. like you said everyone wants to fight dlh. he can fight whoever he wants. mayweather can fight whoever he wants also. the difference is dlh is willing to fight the best while mayweather runs from the toughest challengers even for a career high payday.

      shot - Gatti
      limited - N'Dou

He will never face a prime, world-class welterweight like Cotto, or even Williams or Cintron, because he's not 100% sure he would defeat them!

Calzaghe faced and defeated the best prime, undefeated, world-class super middleweight in Mikkel Kessler. Why won't Floyd fight Cotto?
Okay wait a min now, it took Calzaghe a long time before he faced Kessler lets not get carried away here it took him a while before he fought Lacy, up until Lacy you could say the same damn thing about Joe.
and Floyd has not been a pro as long as Joe so you can cut that **** out, and regarding Floyds resume, look I hate Floyds ****ing guts but I would rather see a fighter hand pick former champions or Champions who have little left than to see him pick guys like Omar Sheika, Sakio Bika and a bunch of other C Level Club fighters.
Calzaghe has been a champion for god knows how long, and it took him until 2008 to call out Bernard, it took him how long to come to the states and fight? thats what I thought!

Good point. But when you can fight whoever you want, you start to get really picky and want the biggest payday. Mayweather and De La Hoya both had to start from the bottom and fight to the top just like all boxers so now late in their careers they pick who they want to fight.

I would hardly call Steve Forbes the best.

This is true but after a fight with Hopkins, Mayorga and Floyd I think Oscar has earned the right to fight Stevie Forbes

you cant fight the best everytime. mayweather never fights the best. and when you fight the best and you take the risk the money will be there to make it happen.

That is an exaggeration. Maybe he hasn't in the past few years but he has fought the best in other weight classes. Mayweather ducked Margarito and now he ducks everyone?

I don't understand this logic. If Margarito beats Cotto, I think him an Floyd will fight. If Cotto beats Margarito I think Floyd will fight him.

If Mayweather retires and doesn't fight Cotto or Margarito, then I will agree that he ducked them.

Calzhage fans should not accuse anybody of handpicking opponents..

At least Floyd can punch like a male..instead of clawing at the air like a MALFUNCTIONING FEM-BOT

                  Hopkins..OLD..43...shell of himself

                  Kessler....featherfisted COWARD..DUCKED MIRANDA..couldn't stop a SHOT LIGHTWEIGHT(Dingaan Thobela)..Couldn't stop Anthony Mundane..who was KTFO by SVEN OTTKE...

Jeff Lacey.....went life and death with Omar Sheika

                  Peter Manfredo..SMALLER...154lbs...NO POWER..bull**** stoppage

                  Evans Ashire...SMALLER.....OLD..154lbs..NO POWER..KTFO by Massoe

Tokker Pudwell...LOL.....featherfisted BUM that did NOTHING to get a "title" shot

Charles Brewer...SHOT..previously KO'd by Echols(Joe was supposed to fight the WINNER Echols...but PUNKED-OUT and fought the LOSER..Brewer)

                  Mayweather > Jolene Calislappy

Lets also not forget that Charles Brewer had a hard time with Scott Pemberton.
