    The Manfredy fight was good.

Rios is honestly one of the worst fights I've ever seen. I may need to rewatch it. I do remember at one point Floyd seriously ****ing stared at Rios for 10 seconds waiting to counter punch. 10 seconds without a punch thrown, and without ring positioning. That is horrible.

That part of the Vargas fight is money.

Merchant was beyond being journalistic and asking the hard question's he was being antagonistic towards PBF is saying he was boring. Vernon Forrest landed bombs on Baldo at 154 and Baldo walked through that **** like he had titanium platting on his chin......PBF realized he wasn't gonna stop or even buzz Baldo and he cruised.

Merchant and HBO have a clear long lasting bias against PBF.

Something like that is bound to get a fighter angry.

Also, the past history of Merchant NOT having a tendency of doing that makes it a little more justifiable that Floyd did it.

Still a ****** move for Floyd to lose his cool though.
Merchant was pretty disrespectful to Floyd by saying that stuff. But Floyd fired back. Take the good with the bad, Merchant ignited that exchange.

I never saw this interview untill now but I could see the tension between eachother in every other interview I've seen of them. Floyd is right though, Larry is the leader of the Floyd haters, he set up that famous club.

Has the the thread starter only started watching Floyd recently?

No disrespect, but larry had that coming to him since Floyd was at 130... go back to the Angel Manfredy post fight interview and listen to Merchant's final comment to Floyd... disgraceful... that's the day i realized what an ass larry truly is.

Merchant just doesn't like Mayweather. This was a culmination of that. Right or wrong in asking the question, a non-biased person knows why he asked it. He asked it to provoke a response. A response of that nature. Don't be surprised when it happens.

"Yeah, it was a good performance, but I still want more." That's a bit disrespectful. "You should have knocked out the bigger guy, who punches decent with the granite chin. Do what a guy like Judah, who punches harder than you, couldn't do. Neither will Vernon Forrest, a guy bigger and stronger guy."

It's a bit of a back-handed insult. Not blatant, but once again, Merchant has knocked Floyd in many ways. Right or wrong in his opinion of Mayweather, through the eyes of Mayweather, I can see being pissed off.

He fights someone more his size, in Hatton, and he KOs him. People expect him to do that with everyone, it's absurd. I'm sure it could get tiresome.

That being said, he should have been able to KO Judah, even with the 10th round situation. Nonetheless, he does usually finish the job when the guys are more his size.

He did what he should have done against Baldy, though.

That forrest fight pretty much proved to me that you are NOT stopping baldomir by any means except with a sledge hammer.

What Merchant did was demean the way PBF fought even after he already knew PBF had hurt his hand. What more does he and the fans want? PBF fought Baldomir with a hurt hand and still shut the man out. I can see if PBF was 100% and fought that type of fight but he wasn't 100%. That **** was very disrespectful because Merchant began the comment talking about PBF coming out as a gladiator and basically saying PBF fought like a *****.

I personally feel its ****ed up to critize a person's win if you know that person is hurt and still continued on fighting. What more can you ask of a person if they are fighting with one hand in a boxing match and they don't quit?
