If you've really watched that clip so many times and still can't see the slightest reason for Floyd to react the way he did you either have very poor perception skills or you're subconciously a little more biased (against Floyd) than you think you are.

Yes Larry Merchant is a bit biased towards Floyd, but its still no excuse for the way Floyd cried on Ellerbe's shoulder in that press conference.

The tension seems to have always been there between those 2. It probably doesn't help that Larry usually looks at him as though he's something sc****d from underneath his shoe.

Floyd said they put on a pleasing the performance. Larry asked if he considered the fight entertaing even though people boo'd and got up and left. Larry didnt boo or get up and leave , he just asked a very LOGICAL question.

Floyd can fight twelve rounds then let a simple question like that get him all pissy and crying?

floyd said why.. larry never gives him the respect he deserves. maybe what larry said was true but he should be more respectful since hes just an old man with a microphone



yes i remember larry saying for no reason to floyd "you're only fast in the ring" implying that he's ******, which is not true at all.

Larry is a piece of **** when it comes to respecting some fighters. I am seriously suprised that noone has knocked his block off AT LEAST once.
