Can someone PLEASE point out what Larry Merchant did in this interview that made..

Whena fighter has a one-sided win and is told he STILL needs to do more.. it can kind of piss you off. Not to mention that Mayweather already knows how Merchant feels about him in the first place.

It's a built up thing. Not saying it was completely needed, but that's why. And I understand the reason behind it.

It is destroyed to bits by a lot of boxing fans as the most boring fight ever, which it wasn't.

It definately is not a fight of Floyd's that I am keen to rewatch a bunch of times though.

Some of his fights (most actually) at 130 after he beat Hernandez, and before he switched trainers...

FYI, those fights are Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Carlos Rios, Justin Juuko, Carlos Gerena and Gregorio Vargas

... are actually quite a bit more boring that Mayweather-Baldomir, because he was even more focused on defense in those fights.

Floyd said they put on a pleasing the performance. Larry asked if he considered the fight entertaing even though people boo'd and got up and left. Larry didnt boo or get up and leave , he just asked a very LOGICAL question.

Floyd can fight twelve rounds then let a simple question like that get him all pissy and crying?

Floyd had just shut out Baldomir who was undefeated in 7 years for the REAL WW championship of the world & Karry Merchant was trying to discredit his performance. This is after he had discredited his victory over Judah in his prior fight because he said Judah wasnt the REAL WW champion.

And I don't know why it is not okay to have believed that Baldomir had a shot.

He had just beaten a ridiculously fast, slick Judah... Seems like a good win considering he was going to fight Mayweather, who is fast and slick as well.

The defense was the only thing that set the two bouts apart IMO.
