Louis could do critical damage with one hit, his punching technique was almost flawless and if he caught you with the right cross your lights were going out.
He didn't lift his opponents feet off the canvas like Foreman and Shavers but he could hit them right on the chin to turn the lights out.

He could also break you down systematically.

Best Punchers, which is what it was about.

Biggest Punchers, NO, Louis wasn't the top.

But you also have to understand unlike say someone like Shavers and your Peter, Louis can land several shots which accumulates to more power. It's also easier to see a Shaver punch than a Louis punch.

Louis was also pacing himself, unlike Shavers who blew out early. You don't put all your power into one punch because if you do, you blow out quicker, which is what Wlad found out as well.

Louis was able to finish people off the way he did because he was able to conserve the energy and power when needed...when he stunned you, he unloaded at full force.

Speed, Power, timing, combinations, and even accuracy, all there.
Still, he was not right in that fight. he still had mental damage from the corrie Sanders loss. His mind told him that he couldn't take a punch so his body reacted to that.

Which says something about the fighter he fought, Sultan. I was watching the fight with a few of my friends and none of us were impressed with either. I continued to watch Sultan, and still not excited, at least not what the hype around him was about at the time.

I don't think Sultan has proved ANYTHING yet except that he can go 12 rounds with two men who don't even try to throw punches.

I think Wlad destroys him but if he goes down swinging I'll gain more respect for him. Sultan's trainer Jeff Mayweather said they will try to make it a brawl.

He actually believes Ibragimov punches harder than Wladimir Klitschko.

Exactly, for once, we agree. There is nothing special about Sultan and Wlad goes straight through him in my opinion.

Which will play directly into the hands of Wlad because Sultan would be making himself more vulnerable.
