Maybe, the mind does need to be healthy.

However Wlad did have two fights after his loss to Sanders and won both by KO.

Many factors could have taken place: One, Wlad over doing himself. Two, landing on the punching bag takes its toll. Three, Brewster throwing back and landing, landing some decent body shots. Four, maybe true, Wlad still wasn't mentally fit. Five, maybe something else.

Wlad tried to put on a show and gassed out. He isn't used to fighting at that kind of a pace.

I would say all four of your factors.

Wladimir did say he was drugged but I think that's more of an excuse for being humiliated like that. Kind of like Foreman's excuses about the Rumble in the Jungle.

Wlad should win, he is the most talented of them all. Hopefully, now that he is with Manny, and has some time, he unifies the title and says something about the b.s. of having 4 titles, when there used to be 3, and before that, 1.

I can understand the positive to having more than one belt, it prevents fighters from holding one belt hostage, like Dempsey did for 3 years without fighting, but that just says something about the system needing to be fixed.

Could be. There was a Tennis player that might have been drugged, Tommy Hass. My friend suggested right away that maybe Wlad had a bad reaction to taking Insulin, if he is on HGH.

I would favor my other choices first.

For Foreman, could be an excuse, but if I wanted to give him a pass and come up with something, he could have been drugged as well, or maybe even dehydrated, heat exhaustion, etc. You can get a metal taste in your mouth, which would explain the "medicine" taste.
Without drawing any conclusions, Wladimir did resemble a bear that had been shot with a tranquilizer dart. I've seen plenty of big heavyweights tire, but never that dramatically.

We should wait another 2-3 years before really making up are minds, if wlad got ko by sultan it would look embarrassing picking wlad to beat a liston or tyson, To the user that posted about clevland williams you should know that he had been shot and had trouble moving his right leg by the time he had his fight with ali. The clevland williams of the late 50's was a very different fighter.

He actually believes Ibragimov punches harder than Wladimir Klitschko.
                    Wlad should destroy Sultan.

If Wlad cannot get past Sultan, I will take back the praise I've given to him. I'll even say that Wlad's brother, Quitali, is the better Klitschko.

Wlad will still have the better resume of wins however.

I think some confuse having a great career with actual head to head matchups. Wlad beats a lot of HWs due too his combination of talent and size. Is he as great as most guys on this list? No. But that doesn't mean he doesn't beat some of them.

Muhammad Ali - I see Ali winning a close decision.
Joe Louis - Joe would compete with his skill and power, but not sure if he could continue to take Wlad's big punches. Ali had better defense to make it to the end.
Larry Holmes - Holmes via close decision. Jab would trouble Wlad and Holmes was very skilled and could fight.
Mike Tyson - Tyson would have trouble getting in. Kind of a toss up because a prime T was confident and knew how to get inside. I'd put my money on Wlad though.
George Foreman - Foreman via stoppage. Foreman might have trouble taking Wlad's punches, but Foreman would sense Wlad's reluctance to take punches and go for it.
                      Joe Frazier - see Tyson
Ken Norton - Wlad KO in tough fight. Middle rounds.
Sonny Liston - Liston has the tools to win, but was very stationary and would eat up a lot of punches. Wlad by late stoppage.
Rocky Marciano - size mismatch. Wlad isn't just "bigger". He's also more skilled.
Jack Dempsey - great fight. Wlad by KO
Jack Johnson - Jack knew how to land big punches. Even on tall men. Toss up, but hard to bet against a big and strong fighter like Wlad who has skills.
Evander Holyfield - Holyfield brave vs big men, but Wlad would win a decision or late stoppage via towel.
Lennox Lewis - Wlad wouldn't be able to take Lewis' offense like Vitali.
Archie Moore - great fight, but Wlad by decision.
