Ali lost to Norton, and he had close and even contestable decisions to guys who couldn't even crack the top twenty today. Ali does not beat Wlad every time. Things aren't so simple.
    What a simpleton you are.

Why dont you go and compare the 70's to the 2000 era??

How many people were interested in joining boxing, then and now?

I'll take a j-man like Bert Cooper over Wlad any day of the week.

    Soft.
    Protected.
    Cautious.
    Tight.

.......Who do you think I am talking about when I say those 4 words?

the big killer in that fight was sanders southpaw stance. wlad was stepping to his right,,,,,right into the left hand of the southpaw which is a big no no in boxing. had sanders been a conventional fighter the result may have been very different. of course wlad doesnt load up on his right hand anymore which makes it more difficult for opponents to catch him coming in these days

2007 Wladimir Klitshcko would be a very tough fight for Ali...anybody who thinks Wlad would have no chance against Ali is a moron and dosen't know **** about boxing.

          Gotta love it.

For a man with a pHd, maybe you should grab a brain and actually watch some fights.

Size means **** all in this matchup with all things equal.

It makes zero sense to compare 2000ish Floyd to a 1970's ali.
lets not go overboard there killer. as great as ali was he did struggle in a lot of fights. if norton could beat him and give him trouble its not out of the question that wlad could have given him loads of trouble. wlad is clearly a more complete fighter then he was years ago,,,so bringing up his 3 bad fights out of 52 isnt telling the whole story

            Complete fighter, lol lol.

Where has he shown more skills.

he has shown himself to be more cautious and tight. Lost all the fluidity he once had.

            I'm impressed....

Comparing Wladimir to Ali is taking the piss...seriously.

Let Wlad finish his career then we can start talking

                  With science....

Surely it would be ****** to compare the mid 1950's vers. of Lous to the 2000 vers. of Klit.

Agreed. People go way overboard with their present favorites and when they fail they are forgotten. Back in the day people probably thought the same about Bowe and Tyson too.

All things being equal, (medicine, strength training, etc.), Ali would be a big heavyweight also.

And with his skills. He would of battered Klit into submission.
No that would be P4P no one ever said anything about P4P and the fact that they are both in the same weight class there is no reason to talk about p4p.
This is like a time machine we are not changing fact we are just bringing them together.
