Wladamir Klitchko runs the gauntlet

The only hater here is you, you have no respect for the past greats.
If Klitschko loses another fight you will call him a bum just like you did Hatton even though you supported him.
Louis was a lot smaller than Klitschko but today he would be bigger and his KO power was legit, at any weight. The only way Klitschko beats Louis is if the size advantage is too great.Comment

The list wasn't saying the most powerful puncher if that is what you are indicating, but a combination of everything: speed, power, accuracy/sharpness, explosiveness = greatest puncher of all time.Comment

Dont worry, he is Ukrainian and his username is "WLAD OWNS". Do you need further explaining? The only hater here is you, you have no respect for the past greats.

Man please, comparing them to Wlad period does not even sound right. was any of them a 2 time heavyweight champion and a great pure boxer? you cant take nothing from those fights, two TOTALLY different fighters.Parody;3002052]A prime Joe Louis would KO Wladimir no doubt, He was used to KO'ing much bigger guys like the Baer Brothers, Wladimir is more talented than them, but they had a better chin yet still got knocked out,
LOL! who told you that lie? So you are telling me that Louis hits harder than Shavers, Foreman or Wlad? please, i doubt he even hits harder than Vitali. He was a great champion and a great fighter no doubt, but matching well against a 6'6 power house who has great pure boxing skill, power in both fist, and great stamina is highly unlikley.Joe Louis is rated as the best puncher of all time at #1.
Please, Joe Louis was smaller than both Sanders and Brewster. besides, Wlad has a weak chin but he would touch it. Wlad would keep Joe on the outside, pick his spots to work, and fire off right hands and left hooks. This fight wouldn't even go to the late rounds. It would simply be boxing brilliance at its best. and Foreman gassed out early. Its like this, if Wlad makes it past the 5th round against George, he would have a chance at stopping George in the middle rounds. Foreman would be dealing with a fighter that was faster than he was, bigger, and possible its just as hard as he does.Foreman matching well against either Klitschko brother is something that i just dont see happening.Surely if Brewster and Sanders can crack his chin your telling me Joe Louis who is regarded by many one of the best Heavyweights of all time cant? Prime Foreman would absolutely Kill wlad, were not even talking much of a match here.Last edited by slicksouthpaw16; 01-01-2008, 10:51 PM.Comment

Using Data Boxing PC, in 100 bouts, over 15 rds, both at best
Ali- Klitschko: 97-3-0; Ks 46-3, Ts 44-0, Wu 6-0, Ws 1-0, Ns 87-20, Injs 113-39, Ave K Rd 4.0-5.3, Ave T Rd 7.5-0, Rds W 76-24%.
Matchups vs the others would take a while. Anyone interested?
My guess is, he would not beat the top 10. But one never knows until it's played out.Comment

Go and see The Ring's Greatest Punchers of all time, The list is a P4P list of the greatest punchers ever, I did'nt know you have to be a two time world champion before getting compared to Wlad, do you realise that wlad is'nt even a legit two time world champion? Back then there was only one belt, the heavyweight championship of the world, Nowadays there are four belts. When Wladimir beats Ibragimov he will be "The Man" at Heavyweight. He had a paper belt before while Lewis was the champion. It does'nt matter how small Louis was he was knocking guys out who were much bigger, this is because he is was a very accurate and P4P hard puncher. Samuel Peter can knock you down three times, Williamson can knock you down but Joe Louis cant? I mean I thought you knew your stuff? Foreman is the hardest puncher at Heavyweight, your telling me Wladimir's chin would survive against a Prime Foreman? I'm sorry to say but that is ridicilous.Man please, comparing them to Wlad period does not even sound right. was any of them a 2 time heavyweight champion and a great pure boxer? you cant take nothing from those fights, two TOTALLY different fighters.
