Tyson did take a good shot but Bruno Wobbled him,Dougals could'nt punch but he put Mike away & so did Lewis & Holyfield had him Rocking aswell

Lewis has tremendous power see what he did to Golota Bowe could nt put him away in 2 fights .and what he did to Rahman & Ruddock

Even Kevin Mcbride made Mike quit and that is the same Tyson that Len beat.
How about the 30 year old Tyson that Holyfield schooled in their first fight(a 34 year old Holyfield that had lost 2 of his last 4)? How about the 23 year old that Buster Douglas beat.

Who did "prime" Mike really beat that was that great and in their prime?

Yes he would, Hes just too good of a pure boxer, too strong, and too powerful for Tyson IMO. Come to think of it, i dont think that Tyson has fought anyone that hits as hard as Lennox.

It works both ways: McCall knocked Lewis out and so did Rahman. When was Mike taken out by one punch, even after he left Rooney or after prison and washed up?

Factors in everything my friend, but it is true, Tyson never faced a Lewis when he was making his name, but Lewis can be overrated as well, like his jab, which even Holmes called ****, well, at least compared to his own.

Tyson was asked this one time, about who punched him the hardest, and he said it was Holyfield. Not because Holy had great one shot power, but because the accumalation was a *****. The other "big" punchers, not that big of a deal compared since he could see them coming, prepare, and he could take it, but Holy, he was all over him one after the other.

If you look at the final hit that knocked Tyson out from Lewis, his guard was down and he couldn't see it coming because his eye was puffed up, and it looked like he may have started to punch with his right since his head started to move into Lewis's direction towards his own right... let alone he was exhausted. Even with Douglas, besides the terrible beating he took, an being drained, his eye was puffed up and couldn't see the shots coming, which is why the jab into Tyson's face, then the uppercut worked beautifully, and it still put and incredible combination to put his ass down.

In no way shape or form could anyone question Tysons chin.Watch the first Holyfield fight(Holy must have hit Tyson with10 to 15 shots and Tyson was still on his feet In the end..The same Holyfield that had rattled Lewis with one shot In I believe there second fight 4th round.)Lewis hit Tyson with massive shots before he was able to put him away so many shots Infact that Lewis stated his hands were killing him.Not to say Lewis would not have had a chance against Tyson In a prime vs prime fight but I think people need to dust off their old vhs tapes or dvd's and spend the afternoon watching Tyson fights from 1987-1989 and see what a fighting machine truly looks like.In the end Tyson would be way to fast, his defense and abilty to bob and weave, and his unbelievable power punching while throwing In combinations would be to much for Lewis.

You know Tyson's trainer also said Tyson didn't take the Holy (I) fight serious and didn't train hard for the fight, which is also why his stamina was ****, besides the long layoff. And we all should know what happens when your stamina is ****, you become exhausted and your chin goes down the toilet.
I think for the second fight, and not knowing how he trained for that one, many factors came into play, specifically knowing you are half the fighter you once were and that isn't good enough even for this version of Holyfield...not a good confidence booster.

That said, it seems you are putting down Lewis to much. Size, strength, and a great boxer with a great mind for boxing, isn't an easy fight.

I just rate people based on how they fought against the opposition they faced. Some could argue that Tyrone Brunson would destroy Kelly Pavlik because Tyrone is 18-0 with 18 first round knockouts. While not completely impossible, if you look at his opposition, then you cannot determine how he would do at all.

Lennox Lewis' resume of fighters he beat is far greater than Tyson's. Comparing him to Lewis, or how he would have done against him is like comparing Edwin Valero to Manny Pacquiao.
