I think Tyson wins. Even the washed up Tyson took a hell of a beating from Lennox before it was over. Imagine Mike moving fast and actually landing on Lewis. If prime Mike lands on Lennox it is over for sure. Lewis couldn't have kept prime Mike off for an entire fight. Old slow Mike was a piece of cake. Even Kevin Mcbride made Mike quit and that is the same Tyson that Len beat.

Yes Lewis would beat down prime Tyson similar to what he did in their fight, maybe Tyson would last longer, but the result would be the same.

IMO no, Tyson wasn't even game during his fight with Lewis back in 2002 and still managed to land some shots. Just imagine if he was a prime fighter that was more active, sharper, faster, and mentally focused, he would of annihilated Lewis.

I think a prime Tyson might just edge it! He was alot quicker when he was young alot quicker..And there is no way Lennox would beat Ali, Like one of the posters have put up..No way at all...Ali would have schooled him

i'm very close to parody's assessment of this situation. a ready lennox lewis could either stop or outbox a prime tyson. same with either klitschko, and holyfield.

however, every fighter has a chance at losing - even on better days. i mean, mike tyson, he wasn't the hardest puncher(although up there or at least arguably), or close to the better heavyweight boxers.

it's sort of sad how this tyson mystique still surrounds him. a product of excellent marketing for sure.

tyson was a very good fighter - decent boxing skills combined with great power and finishing ability. however, i can see many different fighters giving tyson at least a hard time that people may dismiss right away.

his character and his promotion, though, remain a huge reason why he is still talked about more than other equally deserving fighters IMO.

personally, i think you might be buying into the "greatest of all time" marketing. you know who even said that or started that? ali himself!

ali was great for his day, but to even think of comparing fighters of today is rediculous! it is a way different game these days. and all of these fighters now have long been studying ali, foreman, louis, marciano, etc.

when a prime ali and a prime lewis fight, then we'll have some answers. otherwise, speculating is just a cheap thrill.
