Yes, of course, but would he win best out of 3, that's a different story. One of the things Lennox left us with is that we saw his best...we saw him at absolute peak/prime because he never had a long layoff and kept learning and getting better as he matured, where someone like Tyson threw it away before they could even reach a prime age, but even with that, we still have a very good Tyson that could whoop some ass.
I'll do the run down later since it may be long and I'm not in the mood to do it at the moment.
yes he could , lewis is so much better then anyone tyson has faced during his peak. tyson had a punchers chance.... but lewis is much much smarter. and tyson doesnt lose decisions so , lewis KO
Depends which Lewis would show up. a 100% Lewis beats Prime Tyson 100 out of 100 times, but if an unfocused, undetermined lewis shows up then Tyson can win AKA the Rahman and McCall fights.
Tyson would have been alot faster than anyone Lewis ever faced and would have got inside alot easier and probably won by TKO. The Tyson that beat Michael Spinks beats Lennox Lewis IMO.

you cant seriously compare spinks to lewis? that fight gives you no clue as to how a tyson lewis fight would play out. lewis would beat tyson all week long and twice on a sunday. his jab was too good, his boxing brain was too clever, he had too much power, a very under-rated chin, too big, too strong, basically too good for mike
Considering a couple months ago a thread was made saying that Chris Byrd could've outboxed Mike Tyson then its very realistic that Lewis beats Mike at his Prime. Lewis would win IMO would be an amazing fight though.
With both in their prime could Lewis beat Tyson? Yeah, definitely. He was an incredible skilled boxer and one of the all-time greats. But Lewis would definitely have to bring his “A” game to each fight. Each fight would be close, but if both boxers fought their best fight in ten bouts I say Lewis wins six of them. The one fight advantage is due to the height advantage of Lewis, which Tyson would have some problems with.
As for Tyson, when he was in his prime his combination of speed and power were devastating, and although people overestimate how bad Lewis’s chin was it still wouldn’t hold up if Tyson hit him on the button.
I have always said that in a trilogy of fights a prime Tyson would most likely win at least one of those three fights against any heavyweight in history, and although there have been better overall heavyweights in history I can’t make my previous claim for many of them. *
* In fact, the only other two boxers I could confidently say would win at least one of their fights in a trilogy against any other heavyweight in history would be Ali and Louis.
