And the guys he lost to earlier are people like Danny Batchelder and Eric Harding, who went on to get televised fights against big names. So he definitely got a taste of major professional boxing and knows what the deal is.

lol Floyd's too fragile for MMA, he breaks his hands with gloves on. Punchin a body or even catchin a forearm guard without gloves....that **** might stun his hands and leave him unable to defend himself from a smash down.

as a previous guy said, if you took floyd mayweather and put him in a MMA ring now with george st pierre things would turn nasty and quick, and vice versa in a boxing ring.

i dont know why people keep comparing the two sports. they are complately different, and its possible to be a fan of both like myself. i prefer boxing but i respect the skills of some MMA guys. they dedicate themselves to learning a vast range of disciplines and that demands respect

NO HE DID NOT GET A TASTE OF MAJOR PRO BOXING. lol

did u click the link by any chance???

The undefeated guys he faced went on to fight some good names... and get starched in one round by guys like Jeff Lacy and Anthony Thompson and Yuri Foreman!

And he never lost earlier in his career, he was undefeated against BUMS, aboslute bums, who were undefeated in like 7 or 8 fights, and get this, FINISHED THEIR CAREERS WITH LOSING RECORDS!!!!

And the guy he lost to had a near even record, and used Marcus Davis as a retirement fight, which meant he saw marcus davis and said "ill knock this bum out and go on my way." and he did just that.

And i cannot believe he never went 10 rounds, and had the audacity to call 10 rounds of boxing easier then 3 MMA rounds.

Like jesus, i cant believe they couldnt find a less biased guy...

Marcus Davis is a hack. I've seen this chump fight.

He may of trained his ass off for a good professional career, but does that mean he had actual talent? Uhh, hell no.

So he fought someone who got knocked out by Jeff Lacy. That precludes him from being knowledgeable about boxing in your eyes. You want someone with a HOF career to say the same? Do you know of someone with better experience in BOTH boxing and MMA? This guy was not a bum; he was a serious professional boxer who moved to a different sport.

What makes him a serious professional boxer if he wasn't even a J-man?
