Resume's in general are kinda misleading when it comes to fighter comparisons. Joe has good credentials and is usually exciting to watch, Floyd has comparatively superior credentials but is a crap-shoot on wether or not it's going to be an exciting fight. In favor of Joe we heard someone say in his last fight, he took his opponents heart (or somethign to that effect). We have yet to hear anything remotely similar said about Floyd. Though there is no question in my mind that Floyd is the far more gifted fighter.

Who hand picks their opponent more... I honestly don't know who does...

I still think Mayweathers resume is hyped up a little bit too much, his resumes not bad but its no wheres near the greatest resume. PPL **** on Calzaghes resume when I don't think Mayweathers resume is anything special to brag about, yes its amazing he got as many belts as he has gotten but I just don't think the ppl he fought were all that impressive. He needs to fight ppl in his own weight class instead of fighting guys like Hatton.

Now you're just being ******. I like Calzaghe, I've been watching him for a long time but I've only really started liking him since he beat Lacy because he was too much bluster and too little real opposition. But Mayweather has a pretty impressive record, with titles from Junior Lightweight to Junior Middleweight and linear championships in Jr Lightweight, Lightweight and Welterweight (not to mention ten defenses of the Super Featherweight WBC title against some highly touted opposition). Somehow Joe's twenty WBO mandatories doesn't quite measure up.

Joe never moved up, Floyd did. Floyd bulked up to get to welter, in which he still shows up by fight time at around 149, which would put him at the same weight Hatton shows up at for his 140 fights. Hatton is also a good fighter in his weight class. Pac showed up at 142 for one of his fights, how come he is not fighting Floyd?

Under 147, nobody can beat Floyd. At 147+, Floyd is going to be tested and has room to prove himself against the likes of Cotto, Williams, and Forrest.

Remember, Floyd offered the fight to Hatton twice, and Hatton turned him down. Hatton was in his weight class.

                  Prime- Kessler

                  Prime- Jeff Lacy

                  Prime- Omar Sheika

Prime- Robin Reid(did robin reid beat Joe Calzaghe? Or did Calzaghe win a close fair decision?)

                  Past Prime Eubank

                  Floyd Mayweather

Prime- Ricky Hatton (but little guy with no reach what so ever, I think floyd had like a 6-7 inch arm reach advantage or some ****, plus we all know ricky hatton sucks at 148)

                  Past Prime Oscar

                  Past Prime Gatti

And what level fighters do you consider Corrales and Castillo and some ppl even believe Castillo beat Mayweather in the first match.

People on this forum swet floyds resume and bad mouth Joe Calzaghes. But if you look at there resumes, do you think its just to bad mouth Calzaghes?

This post is very unbiased. Congratulations.
