How about you give people reasons why top boxers could beat MMA fighters? Because they are big and strong? Wrestlers are alot bigger and stronger and they also know the art of takedown.
Listen if you think you can learn wrestling by taking a few classes you are as ****** as the MMA fans who say Fedor could take a few boxing classes and be a world champion.

And you actually think boxers could just knock MMA fighters out with a single punch?

Knees are a lot harder than punches and this Sean Sherk guy who you think would easily get knocked out by any light heavyweight before taking them down takes one and shrugs it off. He went on to win the match.

Listen I know boxing AND mma and I know both are hard sports and are both competed at a high level. Boxers have honed their craft for years and top MMA fighters are successful wrestlers/BJJ/kickboxers. There are many olympic medal winners and world champions in MMA just like there are in boxing.

It's just as ignorant to say that a boxing champion can be successful in MMA by taking a few BJJ/wrestling classes just like it is to say that MMA fighters can become world boxing champions by taking a few boxing classes.

I bet you would love to be under that onslaught.
You are as ignorant as any boxing or MMA fan I've ever seen.
your a newbie too the forum, my predictions always come to light or turn out to be true because I'm intelligent, I have great anayltical thought and can anaylze things, an inferior indiviual such as yourself or that clown Sterling could never relate too that.

Boxers are better fighters then MMA fighters and would easily have their way with them with the exception of a few guys

watch an MMA fight and anaylze things. Lets say prime Roy Jones fought Matt Hughes, do you not think that Jones could keep Matt Hughes at bay with a jab, so Hughes can't grab his legs and wrestle him to the ground? He's althetic enough to be able to move around without getting tackled legs first.

It's easier for a boxer to make a transition to be a successful MMA fighter then a former high school wrestler on steriods or a former Judo champion.

            What an ignorant thread.

Wrestling isn't just taking a guy down by latching onto his leg or chest and taking him down. It's technique and a science.

            Something you dont grasp.

            Klitschko would get battered.

I was an huge MMA fan before I was a boxing fan. Your analyzation skills suck, anyone who reads any of your posts can tell this. You're an absolute fool.

You're saying when Hughes shoots for Jones's legs, Jones will jab him(likely the back of his head at knee level) and that will somehow completely stop Hughes's shoot?

                Your ******ity is mind-boggling.

I think the key thing with these potential matchups is pairing guys of equal size. Or more importantly natural fighting size

                      Two different sports

Boxers are used to boxing most their lives, they are masters at what they do.

MMA fighters are used to training different aspects of combat sports, they are very good at what they do.
(you Notice I dident say Masters, Jack of all trades master of none)

                      MMA = Mixed Martial Arts

                      Who will have the Edge?

Saying that, a Boxer like Wlad, is certainly someone to be reckon with.

He's about 6,6 245 pure Muscle. Great Jab, Great Power.

Fedor 5,10 225 Super Talented, is the most well round MMA fighter ever.

Fedor wins 80% of the time in MMA.

Wlad wins 95% of the time in boxing.

The only reason this is the way it is, fedor mostly submits people, he has good power but dosen't knock guys out much. His only chance in boxing is knocking WLad out, the Klit has way too many advantages in Boxing.

In MMA, fedor has the advantage ofcourse, but Wlad is a huge strong guy. Who punches super powerful straight shots, I can see one of those taking fedor out.

Overall the Boxer will win in boxing.

                      MMA fighter in MMA.

                      Fedor with Tyson

                      Tyson next to 6,6 Mcbride

but sometimes things dont go as planned.

Benji Radach 13 -1 solid MMA fighter

                      Danny Lafever - pro debut

"The story for the Lafever/Radach fight goes like this... Benji hit on Lafever's girlfriend. Lafever, a guy whos like 5 foot flat who had never fought in mma before, challenges Benji, an established ufc fighter with a great record at the time, to fight. Lafever knocks Benji out cold. Benji and the promoter have offered Lafever 10 grand to fight a rematch, but Lafever has refused. "
