Top Boxers Can Beat Top Mma Fighters Without Grappling Training!

most MMA fighters 95+ percent, are just very strong guys who know judo or former high school wrestlers ala Matt Hughes, these guys would get destroyed by top boxers.

If you don't think Wlad Klitchko would brutalize Tim Slyvia or Fedor Emirlenko then your a fool! Most MMA matches end up looking like dry sex, with a guy either mounted on top trying to do a arm hold, or a guy having a guy in the missionary position trying to choke him.

Wladimir wont be able to beat Emilienko in MMA...Yes in boxing, but no in MMA.

What is the problem of people, Boxers do what they are good at MMA fighters do what they are good at, both of them are good in their own fields, an MMA fighter wont be able to beat a boxer in a boxing match just like a boxer wont be able to beat an MMA fighter in MMA Bout.

WLAD KLITCHKO is strong enough to wrestle with FEDOR although he may not know all the holds that FEDOR does, he was the power not to get tossed around like a rag doll, and so do alot of other heavyweights, FEDOR's never been hit by a guy woh hits like WLAD KLITCHKO. FEDOR is probably the top heavyweight, WLAD would easily have his way with other guys like CRO "i cant take a punch" CROP, Tim SYLVIA and Randy Couture. All you have to do is take a few JUDO lessons or Brazilian Ju JITSU classes, be somewhat strong, and you can get a few MMA victories under your belt. The fact that you said Emilienko would beat Wlad in boxing, then calling me a dumb **** says alot. You should be banned! forum troll

But a boxer with ground training? Now thats gonna be a dangerous fighter.

Brandon vera is trained in boxing and look how dangerous that guy is. He just lost to sylvia because sylvia kept hugging him and pinning him to the fence.
I wouldn't say its "over" in UFC after your on the ground or hugging too long that seperate you, if a boxer is strong enough not to be tossed around he will succeded in UFC and be one of the best fighters. Imagine one of those guys getting hit by somebody like David Tua? Tua also is more then enough strength to wrestle those guys off of him.

now lets look at the lower weights, MIND YOU mma weights run different then boxing, Matt Hughes fights at welterweight in MMA which is the equivalent too light-heavy in boxing. He would get knocked out cold be a good light-heavyweight.

Dana White talked about Mayweather vs Sean Shrek, DANA WHITE knew that Shrek is really a super middleweight in the boxing world. He would get knocked out by a good super middle or light-heavyweight.

Anderson Silva is a former kickboxer and he's allegendly the top p4p MMA fighter, and his stand up leaves alot to be desired, and he can't wrestle what so ever David Haye would punish Anderson Silva.

Chuck Liddel the face of UFC..fights at 205 which is heavyweight, is notorious for his stand up, imagine him in a fight with a prime Evander Holyfield or a young Mike Tyson? he'd get destroyed.

Saying Fedor beats Wlad in boxing is just as ridiculous as saying Wlad beats Fedor in MMA.

You know that battle between MMA and boxing? The line that was made, causing two distinct sides in a battle between the sports? The animosity was created because many boxers, their promoters and even writers felt MMA- UFC and the like- threated the sport. It's been attracting more and more fans..

Well, the fight is over. Boxing won. 07' was a dominant year financially for boxing- and money is what it's all about. Floyd was one of, if not the, highest paid athletes in America. Read that again: our pound for pound best made more than most NFL, NBA, and MLB players. That's sick.

This thread is unnecessary. Boxing won this year. Rejoice and look forward to the future.

                    The End.
