And fought another guy who is held in equal standard, for the same payday, for The Ring title instead of the piece of **** WBO belt.

    Thank you.

once before the Mitchell and once before and after the Judah fight.
Floyd excuses were , he had 4 losses..Baldo had 9 Gatti had 5..

excuses were Marg only fought BUMS.. yet Floyd fought Brussesl, Ndou, Sosa (who Spaddy beat) and Mitchell..

"If it dont make $$$$ then it dont make sense"..

sounds like a duck walks lke a duck its a duck..

No one said that Marg was great just that he earned his shot and "mONEY" decided to fight other people for LESS money. The Mitchell fight and the Judah fight.

Yeah and Judah's win came from Cory Spinks as well, by a Knockout too.

Yet you give Miguel Cotto credit for beating him but NOT Mayweather who beat him before Cotto did.

You will probably say Winky Wright ducked Margarito as well to face Bernard Hopkins...

The fact is Baldomir who became undisputed linear welterweight champion with wins over Judah and Gatti has accomplished more than Margarito ever did in his career.

Fact is Margarito just wanted the payday, plain and basic common sense.

Margarito fights the Manual Gomez and Golden Johnson's of the world yet who have like 9 or 10 losses themselves but I dont see you being critical of him.

It's ridiculous really. I appreciate Margarito for what he is, which is a hardworking prizefighter. But to think that a fighter that even his fans agree is average would beat the best fighter of the last 20 years is absolutely absurd.

How can you be the most feared fighter in the world when you haven't beaten anyone?

I seriously doubt that Margarito would have been Mayweathers biggest payday.

Margarito is a good fighter. Theres just no reason for him to fight Mayweather, he'd lose anyway. He's got no business being in a ring with a guy like Mayweather.

Margarito has made his name, not in the ring, but in the press releases where he tries to goad Floyd Mayweather Jr, who would be making pennies on the dollar to fight Margarito.

In the ring, I don't think Margarito deserves a shot at Mayweather because he's been unsuccessful in recent bouts of significance. Paul Williams, himself undefeated, flooded Margarito out of some organization belt. Daniel Santos, hardly a world beater, proved that if you don't run from Margarito, he's only as tough as you allow him to be.

The only athlete who made more money than Floyd Mayweather Jr this year was Tiger Woods. I'm not sure where Margarito ranks on that list, but he's not on that tier.

For Floyd to sell PPVs and justify his big paychecks, he needs an opponent who sells PPVs, like Hatton and ODLH. Margarito's only PPV experience was a bomb, with ******* Gomez. Compare the numbers of Mayweather's recent 2 mill worldide sales PPV and Margarito doesn't have the right gloves to play ball.

Ricky Hatton brought 33,000 fans to Las Vegas for their fight. Margarito would bring you, Xcaret, and his family. It's ****ed up, but I believe you need to earn your way to fighting the big boys instead of just freezing out the clock and hoping that your turn comes.

Let's say Mayweather fought and beat Margarito easily (the obvious outcome). The public doesn't like Floyd anymore than they did. He beat a relative nobody who brought few fans. Floyd's next fight wouldn't be any more successful because his most recent opponent was an essential nobody to the general public.

Further, if you're not going to redact the statement I quoted and say Mayweather would lose, then the whole argument is moot. You don't duck people you can beat easily... you simpy ignore them because they aren't worth your time. Which is exactly what Floyd did and other top fighters will continue to do.
