yeah sure he will fight anyone, because he has not had a year to try and fight paulie, oh wait he has, but did not, but now suddenly he wants him! LOL. as for hatton ur right, he is a chicken. i guess you have to be a chicken to fight kostya tsyzu who hits like a truck, or pbf the best p4p in the world. i guess fighting kostya, and floyd is not as tough as witter because ricky fought them, yet u say ricky is afraid and chicken of junior. witter must be the baddest man on the planet! well next to marg of course, but that goes with out saying according to viva!

hatton only got the mayweather fight and the huge payday that accompanied it coz he kept shouting his mouth off sayin floyd was boring etc, witters just doin the same thing, bottom line witter is arguably the best 140 pounder out there and has the elusive green and gold belt that has evaded ricky-a wbc world title fight between two brits on british soil would be huge and a massive boost for british boxing, if ricky wants to repay his adoring fans then he should want this fight to happen

i agree, it does need to happen. according to hattons camp the fight is going to likely happen in may! i just can not for the life of me believe that hatton is scared of witter like many here are trying to claim!

Ricky Hatton isn't a chicken, per se. Of course not. He's a gutsy little ****er, no doubt about it.

But I do believe that his camp are scared wit(ter)less of what message it would spell out if he were to fight Junior and lose - his status as England's fighting pride, the best of British, would be knocked for six.
That status is one of Ricky's big selling points, and also something he takes great pride in. To lose it would be crushing.

I would just like his fans to stop making excuses about Witter not havent done enough or his boring or he doesnt have any fans or any other lame excuse...(Melly-Mel) you're the only reasonable Hatton fan that have come across..Please tell me Urango,Maussa and the countless other Bums hatton fought at 140 were deserving of the fight than Witter..tsyzu excluded.
