But floyd nuthuggers can sing all they want about floyds shoulder injury against Castillo, i don't ever recall floyd having surgery on his shoulder. And floyd was scared of fighting Castillo in L.A, poor floyd always picking his fights.

The injury is very common.

You don't need surgery, it can heal on it's own as long as it is not completely ripped to shreds.

Actually, if it were not too bad, I would say take 7 months and let it heal.

I tore mine a bit not to long ago. The Swelling inside took almost 2 weeks to heal and now I can move my arm again, up and down, side to side. The only problem is, I still have bad pain at the very top and if I lean on it or put heavy pressure, I'm in bad pain and it causes stiffness, which is why I have to keep stretching it properly. The surrounding muscles can make up for the tear.

My friend tore his and he has had a few surgeries on the same shoulder and wishes he never had surgery. The Doctor told him it could heal on it's own, but it will take a long time. So he went for the surgery. A few surgeries later, he is unsure how the last surgery will work out.

He fought for years with a messed up shoulder according to Emanuel. He went for surgery years later when he finally tore it apart. Surgery the first time didn't work out...went repeatedly...missed lots of time...he is finally back.

Sugery is risky, no matter what a Doctor tells you.

Mayweather gave a shot to Judah AFTER Judah lost to Baldomier, lol. After the Castillo fight Mayweather didn't fight anybody for a good while, because he got the scare of his boxing life, other greats keep fighting good fighters they don't protect there record as much as floyd has.

If you read any of my other posts you would have read this: If Floyd does come back, he will have to fight any of the belt holders or he will lose respect, including by me. 147-154, Williams, Cintron, Cotto...Forrest. I will even throw in Oscar, even though I don't want to see it again even though Floyd did offer him a rematch because it was deemed close. Still rather see him face the others if he comes back, particularly Cotto.

But right now, the others have to start fighting and not wait on Floyd who says he is “not sure about his future.”

It has already started. Margarito took on Williams, now Cotto will take on Clottey, Cintron was going to take on Williams before his injury, Margarito v. Cotto will probably happen by the end of this year seeing how Mayweather doesn't like to fight the fighters that people want to see him fight.

Mitchell was a tune up to get used to the weight. Mayweather was still with Top Rank by the time of the Judah fight and wasn't really a "draw" back then so I doubt Arum would have gave Floyd 8 million to fight Margarito.

He wasn't even offered the Margarito fights back then anyway...Only inbtween the Baldomir fight.
