I don't remember or have ever meet a person who was calling for the Baldomir fight, and Mayweather wouldn't have been accused of ducking anyone if instead he would have fought Mosley, Cotto or Williams

Mosley was fighting Vargas at that time, Cotto was still staying far away from Floyd, and Williams had yet to prove to be anything worth fighting.

The Baldomir fight may not have been what the fans wanted, but ive yet to see an unbiased person deny the logic of taking that fight.
The money was right, the opponent was right, and the linear title was there.
It made business sense, even if it wasnt an explosive fight.

You mean the judges gave him the decision in the biggest fights. Alot of people including myself felt he should of lost to Sweet Pea, Quartey, and not even a big fight but got to throw Sturm in there. So you guys must mean a destroyed Vargas and Mayorga.

Hatton = obviously someone everyone knew wouldnt be a threat. not the obvious choice for an opponent for someone who should be fighting the best.

If I recall correctly there were alot of people on here saying Oscar was going to KO Floyd and alot of people were calling for the Hatton fight and saying he had a good chance of winning.

But it's the same sad story from the same sad people saying after Floyd beats these guys that they were bums, past their prime or they already knew Floyd was going to win just so they don't have to give them credit.

floyd wasnt holding or punching air when he knocked hatton the **** out in the 10th. and oscar need to take notes from floyd and learn to win his big fights.
