    Floyd doesnt have to prove anything anymore. He's won world titles in several divisions. He has a very impressive resume dating back to his medal in the 96 olympics. He won the most ordered fight in history. If he really retires. LOL So what. Boxing will move on.

      just curious, why WOULDNT you want to see floyd fight the best fighters out there? I mean, dont get me wrong, i rather see Cotto/Margo/Williams fight it out to get a shot at Floyd, but why do YOU act like you're part of his camp or something"? why wouldnt you want to see him fight the best fighters? look at the last 3 fighters he has fought..

      Hatton = obviously someone everyone knew wouldnt be a threat. not the obvious choice for an opponent for someone who should be fighting the best.

      DLH = past his prime and overweight

      Baldomir = well, Baldomir

      so? are you his manager? his brother? uncle? nephew?

        Couldn't agree more with Dadon; Floyd doesn't need to prove a thing in the ring. Everytime he's shown up against the fighters who were supposed to be competitive (Corrales, rematch with Castillo, Oscar, Manfredy...) Floyd won 'em by landslide in most cases. Whatever be the case every time he stepped up he won. I can't think of a fighter out there right now who would be favored vs Floyd and I only see a significant move up in weight (154+) having the possibility of challenging Floyd. I don't see Cotto's shaky chin giving Floyd any trouble and Margarito, as good as he is, just isn't in Floyd's league. Maybe if Floyd stays on the shelf for a year and comes back older he could get caught the same way Roy Jones did....but I'd go as far as to say that Floyd will never be beaten.

                Funny wasn't everyone demanding a Ricky Hatton Floyd Mayweather fight. Weren't there claims of Mayweather being a "Ducking ass ***** coward" if he didn't fight Hatton? And people had Ricky Hatton being a threat so he was obviously a good choice.

                Oscar is Oscar. Great ****ing name on your resume, He was past his ptime, but still eliete and one of the best in his divison. Not sure how he can be overweight.

                Badlomir is Baldomir yes, but people were calling for that fight to. He would have been the one that was ducked or whatever if Floyd had fought Margarito. People were also demanding he fight Baldomir insted of Judah insted. So can't blame him for fighting him there since he was the true champion of the division.

                  Sadly that is it =\ I think more hyped fighters lost to equal or lesser competition that Floyd dominated. I put a high value is winning on the big stage, which Floyd did. Not to say that he would always win in the "what if" game or is the greatest of all time, but he is currently the best and it isn't really close. In his favor also, Floyd always shows up when he fights, he's always in great shape, and has yet to lose.

                    I don't remember or have ever meet a person who was calling for the Baldomir fight, and Mayweather wouldn't have been accused of ducking anyone if instead he would have fought Mosley, Cotto or Williams
