yall want Mayweather to fight the best.....

but the best are not even fighting the best...

    why not Williams vs Cotto

    or Cotto vs Margarito

    ??

    Cintron vs Williams???

    why arent these fights happening?????

the haters need options if their floyd destroyer fails.

cotto loses they have williams to fall back on. if williams loses they have margarito, if margarito loses then cintron, and if floyd gets by him then they will be screaming for oscar or shane who will be around 40 by this time.

Actually, if it were not too bad, I would say take 7 months and let it heal.

I tore mine a bit not to long ago. The Swelling inside took almost 2 weeks to heal and now I can move my arm again, up and down, side to side. The only problem is, I still have bad pain at the very top and if I lean on it or put heavy pressure, I'm in bad pain and it causes stiffness, which is why I have to keep stretching it properly. The surrounding muscles can make up for the tear.

My friend tore his and he has had a few surgeries on the same shoulder and wishes he never had surgery. The Doctor told him it could heal on it's own, but it will take a long time. So he went for the surgery. A few surgeries later, he is unsure how the last surgery will work out.

      Remember Forrest?
He fought for years with a messed up shoulder according to Emanuel. He went for surgery years later when he finally tore it apart. Surgery the first time didn't work out...went repeatedly...missed lots of time...he is finally back.

Sugery is risky, no matter what a Doctor tells you.

Good info sounds painful. Which is why i belive the floyd injury was an excuse. We havn't heard him complian since winning the rematch. And we didn't hear him complain about his hands after the fight, before the fight we did but thats just floyd making excuses and well as foreman has said, "all boxers have hand problems, its nothing new."

After reading what you posted and about your injury floyd story seems fishy and i belive it was just an excuse.

Your avatar is ****en sickning. That picture clearly shows how weight drained floyd was at 130, fighting smaller fighters, damn feed the guy he's all bones.

If you watch the Castillo fight, which I'm not even sure you have, he complains after the first round about his shoulder.

So unless you want to say "He was already making an excuse because he knew he was going to lose to Castillo!!" it's not an excuse. By the way, why the hell would you say that when he won the first round? Even when Floyd loses the first round he comes back later in the fight anyway.

He wasn't even offered the Margarito fights back then anyway...Only inbtween the Baldomir fight.
Floyd had two tune-ups, and those two fighters were former 140 pounders. Even back then floyd was picking his fights. Hatton at least had the balls to fight a champion in his first fight.

You and other keep doubting that Arum was going to pay floyd 8 million but it was floyd was didn't even want to hear about it, flat out dodged Margarito and the 8 million.

Floyd had already fought Gatti, so Arum knew there was money in a Margarito v. Mayweather fight.

M&M will always be talked about as the fighter that floyd refused to fight, payed to get out of his contract to not be forced to fight him.

Before the fight, it was said that Castillo "was selling his title to Maywather" in other words, Castillo was going to give Mayweather his title and go silent into that good night.

Well we know thae did give up the title to Mayweather but by robbery and we also know he didnt' go into that silent night but gave Mayweather hell and clearly beat him in a competitive fight. And it was in that first round that floyd knew that Castillo was there to win and not sell his title away.

Yes, Mayweather found out he was in a dog fight so he made up his mind to make an exuse as soon as he fought out that Castillo was in it to win it.

Floyd lost its clear and simple. And read the problems leonard still has and this is floyd a boxer who uses his shoulder for battle and yet he hasn't complianed since.

who really wants to see these fights???

they honestly barely have done anything....

can you talk about boxing with those names Cotto, Cintron, Margarito, and Williams....Hatton still has a bigger name than them...

i cant bring those names up at work or around the family or even friends without a response like, "who the hell is Cintron or Cotto?"....sounds like Transformers/Star Wars movie....

bottom line is thhese welterweights have more work to do before they can even challenge Mayweather...

to fight Mayweather at this point...they need a stronger fan base, boxing skills, and the casual boxing fan has to know their names!!!

what about the rematch with castillo? you guys seem to dwell on this first fight ****. he gave the man a rematch and won again. if you watched the 24/7 series against hatton you would know that he said he was in constant pain. guess he was making an excuse because he knew he was going to get defeated.
if you hurt your shoulder in one fight doesnt mean you're going to continue to hurt it in other fights.

Won clearly? That fight was real close. I had it 114-112 for Floyd, but no one won clearly by any means.

And some champ Collazo was. He was won a split decision over Jose Antonio Rivera because the WBA had that super champion bull**** going on. Once Baldomir didn't want to pay the WBA fees they stripped him and appointed Collazo full time "champ"

The shoulder problem was also obvious because look how the second fight played out. Floyd dominated that fight and had no shoulder problems once so ever.

Also who was the second tune up that Floyd had? Mitchell and...can't think of anyone? Why? Because Floyd never had a second tune up.

And no way Floyd would have still made 8 million for the Margarito fight. The only reason they offered him 8 million was because it was a last minute attempt because Arum probably knew that he was going to lose Floyd.

Also what the hell is that "Giving away his title" ****? Do you have a link saying so? Because I seriously doubt that.
