That wont happen against mayweather who's better defensively & much more accurate w/ his punches than mosely at this pt in his career. Shane looked a bit slow that night & was missing wildly w/ his punches but was still very much in the fight throughout and had cotto retreating at certain stages...

...The brother isnt fighting ANYONE (incl. somebody's grandmomz) for less than 20mil. So everybody can talk that he's ducking this fighter & that figter bs all they want..when in reality it's all about the dough. Uncle roger said it best "Floyd keeps fighting (even after acquiring great wealth) for the same reason bill gates is still in the computer game".. & donald trump is still buying properties. That's the american way...luckily floyd's skills talk as loudly as the money.
That's the way I assess it as well.

At this point, Floyd is in the priveledged position to pick and choose what fighter could bring out the best in him for the most money.

If Cotto survives with his undefeated record intact, he should be in a position to command a lot more money and star power, which in turn will perk up Oscar's and Floyd's ears enough to want to challenge him in a huge PPV event.

Barring any obstacles with Arum, I think the fight can happen.

Yeah Cotto has a chance, the same chance that all the other 39 fighters had. Mayweather always does just enough, granted Cotto will put up a better fight than the biased PFB fans would lead you to believe but Mayweather will beat him.

When Floyd beats Cotto will people finally realise Floyd is the best fighter of our generation?

You cant be Mad at the cotto fans for having HOPES AND DREAMs and wanting there dude to fight the best in PBF...

              It's nothing wrong with that......

But in reality, Cotto has nothing mayweather..

              Boxing:
              Skill: Mayweather
              Jab: Mayweather
              Hook (Favorite Punch): Mayweather
UpperCut(Cotto hasnt really develop an uppercut yet): Mayweather
              Body: Toss Up
              Speed: Mayweather
              Heart: Mayweather
(5 different Weight Division "0" Loses) (Cotto only 2 weight divisions)
              Experience: Mayweather
              Power: Cotto
              Inside: Mayweather
              Outside: Mayweather
              Ring Gen: Mayweather
              Smarts: Mayweather
              Counter Punching: Mayweather

              I can keep going....

If they fought Mayweather would be an 4-1 Favorite.....

Cotto is not as Limited as he used to be.... But let's be real what can he do to Mayweather but Pressure him...? (THAT DONT WORK)

In case you didnt Know Mayweather had a broken Hand in round 4 of the first Castillo fight....(Pressure is what PBF wants, He is A COUNTER PUNCHER)

Yeah Cotto will put pressure on Floyd but as we know fighting Floyd is like falling in quicksand, the more you struggle the deeper you sink.

In boxing busniess oscar is like Bill Gates and Maywether is like a little town busniessman. And nedlees to say maywether fortune is like 1/4 of oscar fortune. So whos the best busniessman

I think PBF is the best 147 fighter right now. I dont think anyone at 147 could beat him. But he really needs to fight Cotto right now so he can retire and all the questions would be answered. Cotto will give him a hell of a fight and beat him up a bit, but PBF has the skills and stamina to weather the storm and probably win a SD or even TKO him late. But this fight really needs to happen becuase Cotto does have a chance to beat him. I say like 75-25 in favor of PBF.
