I sort of agree with Floyd, but I would like to still see Hatton go out with a win, like he says he wants to.

I think Floyd was shocked at the punishment Hatton absorbed. He even said that at the end of the fight.

He obviously feels he absorbed some too, or else he wouldn't have called it a war.

I've always like the little ****er(Hatton). I agree with you. I want to see him go out with a win. His type of style is not good for him if he plans on fighting. He does get his a lot.

He probably is saying this so another boxer doesn't embarrass ricky hatton worse then mayweather did. Mayweather wants to take the credit in making hatton look bad.... Thats just my opinion of course....

You're being too harsh on Mayweather. I think is genuine. Hatton does take a lot of shots. But, I don't think Floyd understands HAtton's capacity to take shots.

Another thing, Hatton usually doesn't take that many hits to the head because he ties his opponents in close. Once every 2 years isn't so bad.

I think Witter can get him at 140

Why does Mayweather care? Just before the fight, any question to do with Hattons life he would say "I dont care to know".

A lot of boxers have took way more shots than Hatton. I bet 5 years down the road, when Mayweather is asked about Hatton he'll be like" Ha I retired that ma****er"

When is it a good time for a boxer to retire?

Hatton should definitely carry on and fight the metro sexual and then Junior Witter. He lost to the best fighter in the world and all of a sudden people have him losing to Malignaggi by stoppage (comments made in other threads)? boxingscene has gone ****ing mad.

making the weight for Hatton will eventaully getting him shot faster and a shorter career that.

in addition to the people Floyd mentioned add Castillo and Corralles.

Many year of draining you body really going to take it toll someday
