    1. It's no moral victory for me. I spent $54.95 and made nothing

    2. Ricky's checks won't have Floyd's name on them. Floyd got a small promotional payoff, which he'll get in a check with Oscar De La Hoya's name on it and signed by Richard Schaeffer. This will be in addition to his fight purse, but it will be small. GBP was the promotional headliner, and as always these days there are six or seven "promotional" agencies that don't promote but get a cut due to contractual ties with fighters. That will be a very small percentage.

    3. Ricky's PPV checks will be signed by the CEO of SKY, whoever that is. That money never made it into GBP's account in the first place.

Now Oscar didn't send me a copy of the contract, but these things aren't very complicated.
have you seen the contracts..I sure have and nowhere does it give hatton exculive ppv rights for britain. That's not how business gets done. The split was 70/30 for all ppv revenue across the world that includes britain. there is no 20million pound payday for hatton not off 900,000 buys (if that is even true)

the ppv buys are still being calculated from all over the world so don't make a fool out of yourself and make absurd claims about how much money floyd made. either way 70/30 was the deal on all ppv revenue either in britain or the us.

he did get knocked out, thats the point of boxing though. One thing is for certain though, there will be 20 000 + of us in new york if he does fight Paulie. When your boy has that kind of pulling power then come back

why would floyd get 70% of ppv for britain when 90 odd % of the people watching in Britain did'nt even know who he was. The Hattons are not that ******

                Math time people:

For this example, we will assume that Ricky Hatton signed a graduated contract which gave him 90% of any PPV revenue above 350,000 buys.
                all amounts in USD

                Total buys = [900,000] x [$30] = [$27,000,000]
                Hattons PPV cut = [10% x (350,000 x $30)] + [90% x ( 550,000 x $30)]
                Hattons PPV cut = [$1,050,000] + [$14,850,000] = [$15,900,000]

                Hattons PPV + Purse = [$15,900,000] + [$20,000,000] = [$35,900,000]

This math was done with conservative numbers.

Hatton could have very easily breached $41,000,000 USD.

So where did you obtain these contracts? Did Floyd make sure big E got them to you the second they were signed?

                    heres a few no's for u.
There was 1.5 million ppv at 55 dollars for the fight over there which = 8.25 million dollars or 4.125 million pounds
Right then 25000 brits went over there and say they spent 2500 pounds each to get to the fight, ticket, beer hotel etc (2500 is probably the lower end of the scale, most peeps would have spent more than that). That = 6.25 million pounds or 12.5 million dollars. On top of that u have the 900000 british ppv at 15 pound a pop
The money generated by the brits for this fight pisses all over your poxy 1.5 million ppv's

                      Actually, 1,500,000 X 55 = $82,500,000 -> 82.5 Million

You were 1 decimal place off.
