As a massive Hatton fan, I think the ref did an appauling job of the fight. I think it should be looked into, to stop things like this happening in the future, but as far as calling this a no contest - that would be ******. Ricky was beat fair and square. Yeah there were elbows and such by Floyd, but Ricky aint the cleanest of fighters. I think if Hatton was allowed to fight his 'Style' he may have lasted the fight out, but he would still have lost badly on points. His style had no chance to beat the much better fighter.

Clinching is very legal. Hitting and holding, you mean what Floyd was doing tons of in the first few rounds?

thank you, i thought more morons would of agreed with me but i give you guys credit. the better man won so would people please shut the **** up. thx. on a side note everything i said had some truth to it, but you cant expect anything to be perfect and i dont really see any fighter gaining a significantly unfair advantage

anyway, true, cortez not allowing Hatton to work inside may have affected SOME of what happened, but Floyd had Ricky's number. He was walking in to so many right hands that a set up and knock out was bound to happen. let the fight be, let Floyd take a rest and choose his next opponent.
You are such a flaming phag..

              Phil 'The Power' Taylor's view:

'He did seem to have Mayweather slightly in trouble in that first round, though, and maybe he would have done better with a different referee. I thought the referee was a disgrace. Shouting at him in my bedroom, I was. He should never referee a match again. Something wasn't right.

Why would he keep interrupting all the time, when that's Ricky's strength, fighting close in like that?'

Where did I say anything about clinching?

What I said, was that hitting and holding is illegal and this is what Hatton was doing.

Come on, if it was Mayweather you'd be screaming from the high heavens. Besides I made no pact.

Also, could we have a normal sized ring for the rematch? Cheers.
