It is clear to me that cortez was completely biased and did not let hatton fight his fight. he ignored floyds constant elbow use which is illegal and blatantly broke up the fight when hatton had floyd buckled. i think the nevada state athletic commision should look into wrong doing and possibly rule it a no contest if it can be proved that cortez was payed off. i believe that the judges should be investigated too because hatton won at least 3 and maybe 4 rounds, with all the judges giving him less than 3. i am a floyd fan but i did not want to see him win like that. agree or dissagree?

Anyway, they should investigate it as a front for going after the organized crime ring that runs boxing anyway.

There's no point in reviewing the fight. This isn't football where you can overturn a call. He got knocked out, not robbed of a decision. If the referee wasn't Cortez, he still wouldn't have won. Mayweather was just too good, I give Hatton a heck of a lot of credit for bringing out the best Floyd Mayweather though.

anyway, true, cortez not allowing Hatton to work inside may have affected SOME of what happened, but Floyd had Ricky's number. He was walking in to so many right hands that a set up and knock out was bound to happen. let the fight be, let Floyd take a rest and choose his next opponent.
