Great Post. I agree with Shane 100%. If he ever fought Floyd I wouldn't know who to cheer for. He's my fav fighter but so is floyd (god) I'd be a wreck on fight night.

I guess he was really upset about the outcome of the fight. I was too.
    Those judges were ****.

But dude, seriously..........that's a nightmare. To be honest with you........I don't think there's anyone who wants to stand in a phone booth and fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. He can avoid punches in the phone booth, and return punches on your face in the phone booth.
That's true. He does subtle things to throw you off in there, gets off with punches and gets out before incurring damage. Cotto is a weird guy though. We know that he can damage his opponent with shots that don't land clean. Mosley was trying to stay with him and throw at range until he started getting beat up. Then he started moving.

Cotto can come in behind the jab and throw those compact body shots (while taking one or two) successfully. I mean there's no real strategy for Floyd since he can do so much, but I think Cotto still hasn't shown us everything.

I just think Cotto's jab, great ability to cut off the ring, and ability to switch stances to set up different punches gives him at least a shot.

Cotto would get worked over quite easy.

Shane would be a tougher fight for Floyd.
Shane is a sucker for a right hand and that is Floyds best punch i doubt he would have an answer for it, he couldnt get past Cotto's right.

yep.people tend to marvel at floyd for his speed his defense and his offense when he lets loose, but think cotto is nothing but a crude brawler.i mean people have actually compared cotto to baldo[save xept the chin jokes].he's a switch hitter who can brawl, can box,and gets better in the late rounds.that mosley fight was an aberration on the simple fact he thought he had the fight won.a mistake on his part.

Cotto v Mosley a draw? Are you ****ing drunk or something?

And yeah, nobody wants to see Mosley v PBF, that would be boring as hell and it makes no sense since Mosley just got beat by Cotto and everybody is asking for Cotto-PBF, NOT Mosley-PBF

LOL!!!! yeah yeah yeah... you know that only makes it sadder if you really believe what you are saying because I actually know what paraphrasing is and you don't.

But it's ok just keep insulting me in the end you only make yourself look worse.

Boxingscene writers mis-paraphrase all of the time, but the general meaning remains at least very similar if not the same.

"Cotto would be easy for Mayweather"

"If Mayweather boxed Cotto, he'd have made it a lot easier (than it was for me)"

^Assuming that Floyd boxes, it carries the same meaning..
