Mosley won the Cotto fight anyway, it was a bad decision by the judges! I agree with what he's saying though, had he fought a different way, using the other skill sets he has, it would have been a very clear victory for Mosley, he's inarguably the better boxer out of the two. But the way he fought, the things he did, just made it appear closer than it actually was. But even as it stands, I think he won the fight either way.

Mayweather would beat Cotto 8 rounds to 4 assuming it goes the distance.

Cotto is slower than Hatton and does not use angles.

Mayweather will simply NOT HAVE TO fight him close, he can just stay where he wants.

Because of Hatton's speed and angles he did not have this choice.

This fight is going to be uninteresting, and easier for floyd than the hatton fight.

It's asking too much to bet against a guy that you can't hit..............but can hit you more clean even when you're moving than you could hit a punching bag.

Floyd's speed and timing combination is what separates him from other fighters. A conventional moving target is a stationary target to him.

One thing people also dont comment on often is that Cotto and PBF are 2 of the coldest, calculating and professional fighters (in the ring). Cotto was headedbutted by Urkal all night in Urkals impression of the Juggernaught and was cut. Cotto kept his cool and never changed his demeanor. Same was true after the headbutt's from Judah that caused his the cuts above his eye and on his lip. The dude doesn't rattle.

PBF is the same way, he was low blowed and hit behind the head by Judah and a virtual riot broke out in the ring, he never lost his cool and kept fighting as if nothing happened. Say what you will of PBF but that guy temperment in the ring is ice cold.
Are you ****ing kidding? It MORE than captures the spirit and I only slightly altered the actual language for the sake of abbreviation. Maybe the problem is idiots like yourself are expecting Shane to be seething, casting about insults and putdowns when you read the title and then watch the interview. Your childish PERCEPTION is what made this confusing for you.

DID YOU HEAR ALL THE **** MOSLEY IS SAYING ABOUT COTTO???

Mosley said FAR WORSE than my title. The "spirit" was CONDESCENDING.

You got some significant gaps in your awareness, boy..

So given we saw the Hatton fight.

Who would be a test for Floyd? LMFAO could it be a guy by the name of Antonio Margarito who would never quit coming and has the chin to deal with Floyd's punches? The big, strong welterweight?

I don't want to start the whole argument again............but let's get real. The Tony that pressured the Freak (Williams) and gave him all he could handle despite the size difference (YES SIZE DIFFERENCE. Shocking).

Would trouble the **** out of Floyd.

Interviewer: "Was Cotto a better Boxer than you thought?"

                Mosley: "Nah. Not really.."

                  Good post.

I think Cotto could hit that target. We know that he'd be hit...a lot...like everybody who faces Mayweather. I think Cotto is capable of keeping the distance that he wants to keep without following Mayweather around like a punching bag. Cotto's speed and ability to adapt ALWAYS surprises his opponents.

You're right about Mayweather though. His great timing and mental stability/toughness/whathaveyou will make him tough to beat. But Cotto is just a beast like that.

I totally agree. After seeing how Mayweather was as had many theorized; clearly vulnerable to intense pressure - Margarito could give him fits.

I've said it, that I think Cotto has the lounging jab that could hurt Floyd. If he kept up the whole boxing thing (Cotto who has EXCELLENT footwork either cutting off the ring or something strategic) he can win rounds...........and force Floyd to leave his shell and fight for points.

But dude, seriously..........that's a nightmare. To be honest with you........I don't think there's anyone who wants to stand in a phone booth and fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. He can avoid punches in the phone booth, and return punches on your face in the phone booth.
