You have Paul Williams at number 5 and no Calzaghe. Calzaghe is as skilled as Floyd, almost. You're nuts. And Williams is ****. He'll be done by next year.

I followed Kessler's career, pre-Calzaghe and I always thought watching him fight was like watching Robocop try to box. The guy is a ****ing robot with skin, and while he was a Champion, he never beat anybody who was very good at anything. Librado Andrade is his best opponet to date, and even Andrade is a B class fighter.

Just because he was a Champion, doesn't mean he should be held in higher regard. For christ's sake Cory Spinks is a world champion and he averages around 5 punches per round.
I've seen Kessler's fight on youtube the guy fights bums. I wasn't interested in Cal vs Kess I new Calzaghe was gonna win.

Hopkins has commented on white fighters before. I read this interview a while back...http://www.johnnygoodtimes.com/archives/001543.shtml

"Johnny: Let's switch gears for a second. A question a lot of people have is, why are there no good white boxers?

          Bernard (laughing): Genetics. "

"Johnny: You think so? You look 100 years ago, you had some good Irish boxers. And you look at it now, and it's predominately African American, with a few Hispanics. Do you think it's genetics, or do you think that people are comfortable, and are steered away from it?

Bernard: A lot of Irish guys became lawyers. Genetics, man. And you know that a lot of boxers come from the make up of their environment. Nobody living in the Hamptons is thinking that lessons for exercise is letting another individual punch them in the nose. It's not going to happen. Boxing is structured so that people who come from a neighborhood that has poverty, that has struggles, that has homeless, that has challenges, they're already fighting that war. Every now and then you get a great white hope. The last one was Tommie Morrison."

            .
I never said I haven't seen them fight. I just don't regard small men.

Now if you think Taylor could beat Kessler, you need some help.

Likewise, it was a much bigger fight on paper than it was in the ring in my opinion. I kept hearing rumor of how great Kessler was but contrary to popular belief, I never found a video that could showcase anything other than an average fighter to me. And we all know average fighters don't beat Joe Calzaghe.

Sorry man Calzaghe is another RJJ to me. Someone who is talented but wastes his valuable time fighting bums. Later he will regret what he missed out on. Stop making Kessler seem like he is good. The guy isn't all that B-Hop would beat Kessler so dam easy man. In all honesty! I don't think B-Hop can win against Calzaghe right now because of his age and he isn't as active as he used to be. A young B-Hop would definitly beat Calzaghe but even now I am willing to bet all my points on B-Hop

'Nard better stay out of the white neighborhoods in Philly.

But he already knew to do that. Every Philly kid knows not to walk in the wrong neighborhood. Bringer knows that too. And it's not only race.

Nah B-Hop couldn't beat Kessler. That would be lopsided. He couldn't beat taylor. Then he defends the LHW title against a welterweight.

Why don't you regard small men? Does their size limit them from being taken seriously as a fighter? Pound for pound is a category set up to determine the best fighters of all weightclasses, and I'm sorry but not having Juan Manuel Marquez on your list makes you look foolish. And no, taylor wouldn't beat Kessler but that's not saying Kessler is great, it's saying Taylor is ****, something that is public fact.

I can't say I disagree with Bernard, although he may come across as "racist" in some people's eyes. I'm a white guy who takes no offense with what he said either there or about Calzaghe. There have been some great white fighters throughout the years, but on the whole boxing is a minority sport.

I don't think it's genetics, I just think it's something along the lines of what he said. However not all white people grow up in the Hamptons or have no idea what poverty is.
