Im always surprised how Cotto fans want to see him im the ring with the best while Floyd fans spend their time trying to justify why he doesnt face the top of the division. Mayweather is a great fighter but if you are truly a fan then get off his damn **** long enough to let him in the ring to fight. The next biggest fight for Mayweather right now is Cotto so nothing else matters... unless you just like bragging about being undefeated and generaly just riding Floyds ****. If Floyd is an ATG fighter then he needs to be in the ring fighting the best not bitching about how unworthy the top of the division is to face him. If he wants to retire then fk him, he´s history, and Im a fan of boxing not some sort of historian.

            If Cotto wants Floyd...

Cotto will have to wait for the right moment to blurt out some silly line that would irritate Floyd enough to turn to Ellerbe and say: "Make the f-n fight happen!"

But then, Cotto would be stealing Ricky's baiting tactics, so that might not work.

He'll have to get really creative. Like:

Showing up at Floyd's house, while Floyd's gone, and writing on his garage door, in big red letters: "Make my day, punk! signed M.Cotto. PS: Your worst nightmare."

            Or something like that.

Right now, I don't see the fight happening.

And if and when it does, I think Floyd will be victorious.

              Arum the Hypocrite

Why won't "Low Blow" Cotto fight the Punisher or Margarito...how about even Oscar DLH? Tell Bob Arum to shut his pie hole, and have his fighter fight one of those guys....how about Josh Clotty?...Oh yeah...I don't think Bobby would like that....HEY BOBBY, HAVE COTTO FIGHT SOMEONE HIS OWN SIZE OR AT LEAST HIS OWN AGE!....shoot, I'll be happy if "Low Blow" would fight Cintron...{who has no heart} or even Berto...Bob Arum sounds like a Hypocrite-

Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather's advisor, says Arum is just bitter over Floyd leaving Top Rank. He doesn't dispute that Cotto is a good fighter, but tells The Times that that Cotto still lacks the star power to bring big money to the table. According to the paper, Cotto's pay-per-view with Shane Mosley generated a buyrate near 360,000, a far number from Mayweather-De La Hoya, which generated well over over 2 million buys.

I had heard that the number was in the LOW 300's. From a reliable source.
