I think he meant the ref. But Hatton was screwed from Day 1:

    - Fighting at 147 (Mayweather wouldn't do catch-weight)

    - only 4,000 UK fans could get tickets

    - Making the ring 4ft bigger

    - Cortez doing his duty by saving American boxing from the Brits giving Floyd everything in there .

Hatton would've finished Floyd early but for that idiot Cortez.

4000k UK fans was more than enough. Im sure that Mayweather has not heard anything even close to the noise they were making for Hatton.

Floyd seemed a little flustered at first, but when the hell did you see him in trouble early on?

            why not 50/50?

4,000 is less than a quarter of the ticket allocation.

See, Ive seen you call Mayweather "Gayweather" before.
I've seen you call people that picked Mayweather for this fight "nutlickers".
              Your just a HATER...
No credit for Mayweather BUSTING Hatton with a great shot, and had him looking at a turnbuckle for his troubles...
No. It's the refs, rings, and gloves fault.
If I didn't know better. That would make YOU the excuse man.
Don't argue the point dude. Your favoeurite fighter got KTFO .
Find me one post where I called Floyd "Gayweather." You won't find one post my friend.

And, Hatton is not my "favorite" fighter. I think highly of him though.

I've already given Floyd the credit I think he deserves, and I also said that it probably wouldn't have made a difference had Cortez done his job. But nobody can excuse Joe Cortez for that performance. Only a "nutlicker" could do that.

I think that after the point deduction Hatton got frustrated and easy to hit, Mayweather would have won any way to be honest but i think that Cortez robbed us of what could have been an all time classic that would end in a decisions for Floyd but nope...

                EDIT_

i think he was refering to mayweather nearly going down in the first round when hatton caught him with a left that threw him off balance and then early in the second he looked like he might be in trouble but he came through it if he was

                  Wrong.

Don't get me wrong, that was as corrupt a refereeing performance as I have ever seen ... especially in the first few rounds which proved he clearly had preconceived ideas about what was going to happen before it even did. Did it effect the eventual outcome? No. Maybe it made it less competitive but Floyd had the measure of Hatton by the 5th.

Congratulations to both fighters on an excellent occasion but I hope Cortez gets strung up for that.

Thats where I disagree. Mayweather would never have been allowed to get the 'measure' of Hatton if the ref wouldn't keep steppin in. Ricky had him shook and was gonna pound him to kingdom come.

                    Go watch Round 1 again.

Ricky came in all guns blazing and was ****in him up but the feckin ref man. its not right the ref has such an influence.

                      I'd love to agree but I can't.

Floyd was just better. End of.
