Calzaghe can fill an 80,000 stadium.

    Can Mayweather, Hopkins, Toney, Lacy?

    Thought not.

B-Hop IS the bigger draw in the states, I completely agree with you, but the reason I'm suggesting it takes place in Wales is because B-Hop is nowhere near as big in the states as Calzaghe is in Great Britain, which is why a fight in the Millenium would be logical.

      That's all I was saying.

PS. in response to the post above, Calzaghe's live audience would more than make up for his lack of PPV pulling powers.
      It really wouldn't.

i guess the american audience would much rather pay to see fights like jermain taylor v corry spinks than an action packed fight like cal v kes.

joes a superstar in the world of boxing, who's rarely in a bad fight.

i dont understand why any boxing fan would not want to watch his fights.
        OM****ingGOD.

I didn't say ANYTHING dissing Calzaghe.

65,000 fans with tickets ranging from $100 to $1800, us Brits love a drink so you can guarantee hundreds of thousands of pounds (millions of dollars) is going to be made from that, food and water is a necessity which will also bring in ALOT of cash with a crowd that huge, the list goes on and on.

So from that ONE night of boxing alone, you're looking at ATLEAST 10 million pounds of profit, and even after everybody has taken their cut, what's being thrown in the kitty will definitely boost up the fighter's purse, mainly Calzaghe's ****ty 2 million dollar offer which would possibly double if the fight happens to take place here.

          So yeah, it really would.

Millions of people have paid to watch Mayweather and Hopkins, have millions paid to watch Joe on PPV?

            thought not.

Only reason the rating were bad is because america doesn't know who they are.. Bernard fighting in the U.K. should fix that and they would sell big.
I highly doubt Hopkins v Wright did big in the UK

It didn't, and your point is exactly what I was suggesting.
