Who else is out there can provide Joe with more money than B-hop???

The only two names I can think of are Pavlik and Roy Jones Jr. pavlik, I seriously doubt would be bigger than Hopkins. Jones, MAYBE, but that all depends on how he looks against Tito.

Sounds to me that Joe is ducking Hopkins because common sense will tell you that he will make more money from Hopkins and PPV than probably anyone he has ever fought.

Kessler apparently. If Calzaghe can make more money fighting Kessler again I would rather he do that than take a cut and fight B-Ho.

          Calzaghe rejects Hopkins offer!
Unbeaten WBC/WBA/WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe says he has rejected an offer from Golden Boy to fight Bernard Hopkins. "To be honest, the offer wasn't as much as I got for the Kessler fight so from a business point of view the deal doesn't make sense for me," Super Joe told Wales on Sunday. "Hopkins must really convince me with hard cash that he really wants this fight because I'm not sure he does." Calzaghe, who will be at in Las Vegas to cheer on countryman Ricky Hatton next Saturday, added that Hopkins is still his #1 target but only if the numbers add up. He also dismissed a possible bout against IBF light heavyweight champion Clinton Woods saying "While Clinton has a title, he is not a big name and will not get American TV excited – and I want to keep them happy as that's where the money is."
Hopkins clearly offered 60/40 (which is reasonable). Joe C. is Ducking him! It's official.

I still think this fight will happen. Each boxer needs this fight in order to seal their legacy in one way or another. They will eventually figure out the finances and the fight will take place probably this summer.

Hopkins has used money as leverage throuout his whole career. I find it funny that joe is putting the screws to him on the money issue.

                    Hopkins deserves it!

This is called negotiation. The same thing happened before the Hatton vs Mayweather and Calzaghe vs Kessler fight was booked you realize? You were all saying those wouldnt happen because of this kind of stuff too.
