No, actually, you don't get the point. If it was just about brutality and not skill then they wouldn't use gloves. There wouldn't be rules. There wouldn't be a ring. You would be able to use and hit with every part of your body, not just your hands.
The thing you're not seeing is that these guys train to be able to beat another guy in a ring with rules with just your fists. It is NOT a street fight. Thats what so many of you people that love seeing some guys winging at each other with no skill seem to miss.
If you train to fight in a boxing ring, you train to be able to hit the other guy with cleaner, harder more effective punches. You also train to make the other guy not be able to hit you with those punches. The scoring in boxing awards someone that can hit the other guy more while he himself does not get hit. If you are happy to get hit by punches, you're ******. It doesn't gain you anything...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. All you get is less points, less probability of scoring yourself, more fatigue and more problems later in life.
I don't see how you can enjoy watching two guys hit each other at will. With neither of them trying to defend and block and use strategy to get the upperhand. Watch last years fight of the year. Do you enjoy that more than say...Duran/Leonard 1? Have you even seen that fight? I can't stand to watch two guys that obviously have never trained to be able to make the other guy miss. It shows a lack of good proper training from a good trainer. It shows a lack of understanding the fight game and is plain ******.
Contrary to popular belief a fighter that gets hit constantly but doesn't go down doesn't mean that fighter has a real mans warrior spirit mentality and is courageous beyond our imagining. Every fighter that has the courage to step in the ring has courage and a warriors heart. Gatti doesn't have more courage than every other fighter. He just gets hit more than every other fighter when he doesn't need to. It has ruined his career and will probably ruin the rest of his, most likely, mentally damaged life.
You need to watch more fighters than just Pacquiao. In Pacs case, he would be twice the fighter he is if he could make his opponents miss him more. If he had more boxing skills. You need to watch Duran/Leonard. It is the ultimate example of two fighters going at each other but with real skill. The best example of offensive and DEFENSIVE mastery I've seen. They both make each other miss and then pay for missing. Thats the point of the game. I don't really care for Mayweather but he is better at doing just that than everyone he faces. That is why he is a better fighter.
Before you rant on about Mayweather being a girl, how many of his fights have you seen? If you had actually seen a lot of them you would know he doesn't run like you think. He has the skill to stand right in front of his opponent and make them miss every shot. You seem to think this makes him a *****? How? It takes more guts to do that than come in swinging wildly. You actually seem to be angry at him because he can do this. Why? Is it because Pacquiao can't? In some of his recent fights against much bigger opposition he used the ring more but thats only been two opponents. Two out of forty. Just because he doesn't get hit doesn't mean he runs because like it or not, he doesn't run. He stands right in front a lot of the time. Check out James Toney. He is the best example of a guy who stands right in front of his opponent and makes them miss everything. Do you think he is a ***** too?

True skill is not about running from a shot gassed-out DLH.
You made a lot of sentences which amounted to BULL****.

PATHETIC.
