What does that have to do with anything? He won. You must not have seen the second, and how did the first at 135 stop him from eventually winning a belt at 154 against the best jab he's faced?

Ok, if you can jab and Floyd has a broken hand then you might get a decision win.

Sorry I saw DLH in the first Mosley fight. NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same guy showed up to fight Floyd. I wasn't impressed, and the jab quit working after 6 rounds anyway.

It has obviously escaped your attention that the person I am criticising here is not your Pretty Boy but his adviser Leonard Ellerbe who comes out with absurdities on a weekly basis.

I have already explained that the Spinks fight cannot be used as an example because a fight with Mayweather would have been much bigger and thus would have given Taylor greater motivation.

Exactly, which is why I don't understand the shunning attitude in the original post. It is just a bitter rant to me. Good point to, Mayweather could have definitely challenged Spinks given that Spinks would have beaten Taylor.

Why is that farfetched? Spinks was holding his own with Taylor and he's a poor man's Mayweather. I probably wouldn't favor Mayweather over Taylor or Pavlik, but he could definitely beat them and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see it.

What has that got to do with anyone being able to defeat Floyd?

Spinks isn't even a real middleweight.

The point is that by you calling it absurd is absurd in its self. No one said that you criticized Floyd, you just don't know what you're talking about with that comment.

C'mon now, you expect me to buy your hypothesis? I'm going by objective standards. If Cory could neutralize Taylor like he did, then surely Mayweather would have as well, period.
