to be honest though, hes really just saying floyds on a another level right now, and in reality, he could challange some 160lb beltholder for a title and win, he aint talkin about knockin mutha****as out really, just that he could win a title.

title can mean anything, just like champion can mean anything.

still though, i wish i could be paid to ****ride publically, **** id be saying all kinds of crazy **** too.

He wouldn't beat any of the current title holders.

at the end of the day who wants to watch floyd fight a middleweight anyways?? regardless of whether he could beat pavlik (and imo he couldn't) it would be a REALLY boring fight with floyd trying to pinch a decision. i would rather see a fighter dominate a highly talented division like 147 where he is comfortable than pitty pat his way around at a higher weight and send us all to sleep

I dont think he could do it against Pavlik, but Taylor? Of course he could,Cory Spinks almost did,Mayweather is a better boxer then Spinks, has better accuracy and controlls the fight and the ring better

well currently the middleweight champ is pavlik and theres no way imo that floyd style at that weight could keep kelly off of him. i agree that cory spinks is a similar type of fighter but he was fighting a taylor who had little confidence. imo it would be more impressive for floyd to stay at 147 (if he beats hatton) and dominate there, not to win a title at 160 against one of the lesser guys. does nobody agree?

I have seen worse go down my dude and to say he will win a middleweight belt doesn't mean he has to win a major belt, it could be a phantom title, something that wouldn't even hold weight, overall that was what I call a shock statement, they only said it to generate more buzz and keep Floyd relevant because now there is another topic to post about him, nothing more..

Really that is what PBF is doing right now at 147. PBF may be able to handle 147 but he is actually small for 147. Not to many fighters don't put on weight after the weigh in.
