take a deep breathe.... i meant to say at 147. i found his fights at lower weights very entertaining and admired his skills. but in fairness of late i've been put off with the pot shotting around the ring. hopefully december 8th will be differentComment

Look. Randy Griffin wasn't exactly a jabbing machine and he almost beat Sturm. Add in Floyd's superior movement, accuracy, chin, defense and you have a UD win for PBF against Sturm.
no one has the 'key' to beat Floyd, otherwise he would have unlocked before now.Comment

a very good consistent strong jab by a middle weight at that would beat Floyd ala Sturm. Sturm was robbed in the Dela fight..it was a disgrace..and he beat Dela up with that jab...Floyd didnt beat Oscar as bad as Sturm did...
Castillo also had the key to beat Floyd. Pressure and body work..
or just be way to big for him and neutralize him with the jab..Floyd aint GOD yoComment

I'm sorry but that is a ridiculous thing to say. I can apply that same rule to Hatton or Cotto or any other undefeated fighter.Comment

Huh? Why are you such a bitter and wretched hater, how is that out of the question? I'm sure if Cory Spinks got a SD against Taylor, using the same style, Floyd could have won. You just look for something to nit pick about. You people on here are like women. In the latest installment of his inane ramblings, Floyd Mayweather's adviser Leonard Ellerbe has made the quite ludicrous claim that Mayweather could win a middleweight title if he wanted to.
"You know, if Floyd really wanted to he could go on and win the middleweight title, if he really wanted to. So Floyd's operating at a level all by himself.
You can read the rest of this nonsense at this LINK.
I have no idea why Ellerbe insists on making these absurd claims or who is encouraging him to do so but he would be best advised to keep his mouth shut before someone takes note of what he says and carts him off to the funny farm where he will be in the company of those with similarly addled minds.Comment

Given Mayweather's success at multiple weights, I don't see why beating a middleweight champion would be beyond his abilities. Cotto and Hatton's power wouldn't carry at 160lb, neither would Floyd's, but he has so much more in his arsenal than those two to do damage at middleweight.Comment

I guess you didn't watch that first Castillo fight.Comment

I DONT THINK it's out of the question at all.. Floyd has the skills to beat someone at middle...If Spinks would have beat Jermain..Floyd woudl have challenged him, im sure.Comment
