If today's best fighters fought each other and fought as often as the all-timers boxing could be as big as baseball.

Don't get me wrong, Floyd takes Ricky with a bodyshot (trust me), but it's interesting
Zab was years past his best? LOL, no, he was just never elite class to begin with.

And you forgot to mention the best of Floyd's resume, as has already been stated.

The only problem I see, which isn't his fault, is that he hasn't had a fight with another ATG. Most of the true greats had fights with other ATG's and that is how you knew they were something really special. They went up against guys that had as much skill as they did and it was a real and definite risk. You honestly thought "Who is going to win this? I can't decide...".

The only guy that came close to being a definite threat on Mayweathers resume is Judah but we all know that Judah was never really that good (apart from the first few rounds in which he looks great). He had some kind of mental instability or immaturity, which always reared it's ugly head after four or so rounds, that either came about with his first loss/KO against Zoo or was there to begin with. If Judah had a stable mind and had won all of his fights he could have been THE fight for Mayweather because he himself could have been an ATG. His defining moment? As it stands though I don't think he really has one. DLH? Naaa too old. If they had fought around the time Mosley and DLH did then it would have been something.

Mayweathers resume is great though. He has beaten some good champs and had some impressive wins (as well as some controversial ones) but nothing that really stands out and will make you think of it in 30 years as a great defining moment in his and boxings history.

On a side note warp, isn't Mitchell better than most of the guys you have at good/average? He wasn't when they fought but he was better than them across his career.

Baldy was a danger because he was adamn good puncher and no-one wanted to scrap him too much - reputation sometimes counts in terms of psychology - see Mike Tyson. Gatti had a heart the size of New Jersey, so anything could have happened. Chop Chop caught him flush, only bloke ever to do so in my book. Then there's all those others you fogot to mention like Castillo twice and Hernandez and Genaro and Corrales, so yeah, your argument is pretty ****ty.

The bold is not true. PBF haters never stop just like PBF thrives off them hating him. The haters thrive off of hating on PBF. People love to hate PBF and its very funny most of time because with the comments about who is going to KO PBF everytime PBF beats that supposed person the haters hop on a new bandwagon. So the hate will never stop and that is true sign of how PBF is a great fighter.
