MMA isn't big anymore b/c the Americans dont dominate it. IF the Americans dont dominate it, the americans dont watch it. It's that simple.

If the UFC was smart they would chang the scoring. Too much emphasis in octagon control and grappling. That's why you see 95% of
fights go to the ground now.

Oh, and there is a reason why UFC is extremely popular. Chuck Lidell. The guy stayed on his feet and knocked out his opponents. Now they milked him for all he is worth and have no one. GSP/A Silva are exciting but are not American.

You're right about Liddell, and I think it's funny how the strikers who are so similair to a brawling boxer are the most popular fighters. Some of these UFC fans could be converted if they watched some of this year's scraps.

If Kimbo tried to enter boxing, boxing fans would not only laugh but he would have been knocked out by the first fighter with any decent skill.
NOW LOCK THE THREAD ON THAT NOTE.. COZ YOU'RE RITE!!!

Kimbo is no different than Butterbean. Kimbo wasn't made popular by MMA. Youtube made Kimbo. The moment Kimbo steps up against a B class to a top-tier MMA fighter, he's going down quicker than Erik Morales did in his trilogy with PAC! No different than if Butterbean would've ever stepped up against a top-tier heavyweight!

B-HOP said it's not an art. Floyd Mayweather said it's not an art. Dana White offered the idea to both B-Hop and Floyd to put their boxing skills on this display inside the octagon, B-HOP and Floyd both turned down Dana's offer. They didn't even bother with what Dana had to offer moneywise.

See, all these boxers that talk **** in the beginning end up backing out when someone offers them to fight in the octagon.

Atleast ,if an elite boxer ever gathers enough balls to step up in the octagon he still gets to use his boxing ability. But if an MMA artist steps into the boxing ring, his most important weapon, grappling, is completely taken away from him.

Floyd, Lacy, B-HOP can talk all the ****, but can't seem to back it up when given a chance to prove that the **** they're all talkin' is legit. That's a sign of a straight up f**kin' p*ssy!

Quit making things up Hopkins respects MMA, Floyd was just talking smack because he wanted more publicity for the big fight with delahoya. Yes dana offered floyd like 3 million to fight in the UFC, why would he? he dosent train MMA, he's the p4p best boxer in the world. Kermit Cintron on the other hand called Dana's Bluff, Dana said he dident want Cintron, he only wanted floyd. Dana talks all kinds of **** then tucked his little **** with Cintron looked him up.

You seem to be a bit delusional.

Pride is still around, it's just under Zuffa inc now. And anyway, it had nothing to do with its fanbase, it was being mismanaged! PRIDE's demise wasn't because it wasn't making profit, it had organized-crime ties.
