Amir is just a cash cow for Frank Warren and has been fed no-hopers to keep the supply of money flowing into his pocket....the lad has had promise but is still living off the back of his Olympic Silver medal. Its time to put up or shut up for him now after the constant bigging up of himelf since the Limond fight, but I don't expect his team will chance a defeat against a worthwhile opponent.HE'S EVERTHING YOU'VE SAID AND MORE AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM GET KNOCKED OUT...........

All warren fighter are hype and fight bums..He did that with Naz,Hatton,Calzaghe and now Khan...The diffrence is Khan doesnt have to control the media..They already loved him for being the only english boxer to win a medal at the olympics, I dont blame Khan at all. He is a good fighter who gets a lot of hype because of what he achieve at the olympic.

Khan is over hyped to the max, but that doesnt really bother me. What bothers me is his arrogance in actually believing his own hype. When he was dropped by the feather fisted Limmond I thought (and hoped) he would learn a valuable lesson, but no. All it seemed to do was convince him even more so that he is in fact invincible. After he was dropped hard, he claimed that because he got up it proves he's got a good chin. Not only did it prove he could be dropped by pretty much anybody, it also proved that he seems to have no knowledge of boxing.

Note to Amir: Having a good chin means you DONT get floored in the first place, twat

He got up from that knockdown and totally outclassed Limond after that. I think it showed that Khan definitely has heart, what we saw in that fight was Khan having an off-night and he still won quite easily in the end. Knockdowns are just a part of the game.

This might ultimately boil down to a race issue. I mean who can say that Calzaghe has any humility at all? He's as ****y a bastard as they come and you can probably even add Hatton to the list after the Mayweather call-out post-Castillo fight interview. Was that humility? In fact, there aren't many boxers with humility because in the fight game you have to believe your own hype in order to motivate yourself and excell. Compared to the majority of boxers, Khan is much more humble but being too humble could affect the ticket sales. You have to talk the talk as much as walk the walk sometimes.

He is very weak in the chin, but is very heavy handed, could make for some good sraps down the line, and why is it having a loss on your rec is now the end of the road for fighters

I really dont understand how some people think, The boy isnt even allow to talk!!! He is still a novice learning the trade has a pro..It okay for Hatton to talk..okay for calzaghe to talk about for some reason Khan isnt allowed to say anything? 14-0 fought good competition in his last 2 fights..still 20 yrs old, Commonwealth champion, at 27 Hatton and calzaghe were still fighting Pub managers at 30-0...defending the Highly regarded WBU title , We have here Khan fighting Earl at this stage of his career and people still want to bash him? it really makes you wonder why

Its a british mentality thing....especially a Frank warren mentality, Look what happen to alex arthur!!! when he lost to Gomez warren basically stop promoting him, gary lockett etc

I dont care if a fighter has a loss of their record, mattew Macklin is a fighter who i would watch anytime any day and he has just lost recently.
